BB players are like magnesium. The sparkle for a bit but are gone very quickly. Played long enough now to expect all players to die on any block.
One player gone also gives an opportunity for another, possibly better player shine.

2 things.
1. They are pixels, do not get attached to them. They are there to win you games and not hold your hand.
2. You call him a murder cow so clearly you have one intention with him, he just took what you've been dishing out. :D

I'm exactly like you, I get attached to all of them. Particularly the stars that carry my teams and there is a huge amount of frustration in losing them.
In a way that's the reason why Bloodbowl and Fumbbl never stops being tense. It's always interesting, always entertaining.
And the commentators are right too, everyone dies. Everyone. Well not everyone, but almost everyone.
Probably the best thing you can do while a player is still alive is to enter your good team in a tournament and to try to make a difference with it there. Get a title you couldn't get otherwise and memorize the archievements of the player forever. :)
As a community member who isn't you tho, I'm glad whenever I see a dead killer. Because it means my own pixels are a little safer again ;).

Get attached to the team, not the players. The players are just pieces of a team's rich history.
They come, they go but the Bloodrocutioners live on!

I had the same experience when my ST5 block guard delf lino died. It really got to me. That's because the experience is new to you; you get used to it over time. Players die, wins are forever.

Revenge is the only answer, make others feel your pain!

Players are more than pixels. Some may argue they're not even pixels.

Getting attached is what I love about this game. Developing teams AND players is what makes me come back time after time.
But the fact that you can loose a player, RIP dead no coming back to life ever again gives the whole game a special charm.
Last time I got a player I liked injured I actually retired him but kept him as an assistant coach. That way his spirit is still with the team.

Is this a wind-up? If not it is quite ironic.

Build a better player.
Great players die, great teams live on.

Better dead on the field rather than ragequit out of a concession, no?

Caelthanan Hagrider, former captain of the Blackspine Reapers and current officer of media communications spoke on behalf of two former players who suffered injuries at the hands (claws?) of Balthax. Nicholas Deepbone who suffered a 'Groin Strain' and Cory Truerock who had a 'Fractured Leg' have both since changed their clan names and live a private life in the far north of Nagarroth...
"The families of Cory Truerock and Nicholas Deepbone felt that they were unfairly targeted by Balthax the Scrote Tearer due to their clan names and today with this announcement have finally found some resolution to their plight. Those hits were low blows and should be banned! " :)
