Are Tomb Guardians really Halflings wrapped in bandages ?
I've seen in total 3 of my tomb guardians (on 2 different khemri teams) die over the course of the last 8 games and I have been wondering if other Khemri coaches out there would bother to take something to make them more resilient, or if I should just come to peace with the fact that they just live short, violent lives.

Would you take +AV on a Tomb Guardian ? They are currently the only AV9 players on which I am thinking it could be a nice improvement to their longevity, as long as you keep them out of the way of clawers.

Also would you take Thick Skull ? On paper it would seem Decay makes it pretty much useless, but I have never tried it myself so maybe Khemri coaches more experienced than myself will prove me wrong.

Don't put them on the LOS on D unless you really have thought it through. 90% of the time you're asking to be hit for a stun+, or fouled. Best case scenario is you end up with a TG out of the game for a half with fodder marking him.

Anything with 2+ St4 can deal with the TG LOS anyway.

Thick skull only helps against KO.

"Don't put them on the LOS"
Sooo true. Just don't in defense.
They are the wall behind the moat of the LoS (made of skeletons).
Use puny skellies for los duties, then wrap the opponent with your bandaged hulks.

yep, keep them away from LOS - they will go down, they will get fouled.

Turn 16, 2-0 up and cruising, my kids were crying and I had to rush, so I stuck the TG on the LOS without thinking - boom, 2 of them dead.

they have decay which means they roll twice on the injury table, so yeah, they die quite often. Good news is they also have regenerate.

I'm learning the hard way as well that you don't put them on the LOS :)

yeah, keep 'em safe and pick your fights! without block they are easy targets for 1db, so bizarrely you actually need the skellies to keep 'em safe.

Your opponent should know that with 2x TG off the pitch you are very easy to beat, so they will often target them or take speculative blocks against them.
