Seems like another good reason for me not to use the new client just yet.

I would consider that behaviour you mention with automove a bug, and have submitted a bug report: http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=bugs&op=view&id=337

That's not an auto-move bug. You should only score a touchdown if the player ends the turn in the endzone, ie it should be possible to move through it should you choose to do so.

but... the rules state that if a player carrying the ball enters the end zone, he can't leave the endzone, or give the ball to anyone else, so entering the endzone with the ball should automatically cause you to score a TD, once you end that players action.

In the old client you didn't have to declare Pass actions, there you could just make a Move action and throw the bal at the end of it.
That's something where the new FFB client is much better - as it is closer to the rules.

@James_Probert
So that is fine isn't it?. You just need to "be careful of auto-move while stalling"

Nice catch there James_Probert; I stand corrected. The pathfinder should be changed to reflect this. It's a bit strange, though, that the ball carrier is allowed to dodge in the endzone and effectively fail to score under certain situations. Somewhat strange wording.

To be fair I never entered the endzone cause i saw where the route was going to be so I'm not quite sure how the client handles it... I'll try and recreate it later on while trying to get SPP on journeymen! Depending what happens I may have to log a bug... we shall see! Cheers for the comments guys, wasn't really sure what the rules were on that bit.
