Some guy posted on the BB community FB page that he had encountered some players who were saying they think permanent injuries and death should not be part of the game; that Badly Hurt is good enough, and if only everyone had the same attitude. The comments revealed that loads of coaches think the same way. I started typing out a big comment, explaining why they were wrong, and including a quote from Conan to prove my point - then I deleted it and just typed 'kill all mens', which got blocked by FB's anti-hate-speech software. I declined to dispute it. Cool story bro.

Yeah unfortunately, for BB chat nowadays, Facebook has the most traffic. It's a terrible platform.

My story too. Started playing in the 1980s. Stopped when 3rd edition came in. Then started up again mid-2000s, playing table top and Cyanide. Stopped and then found FUMBBL in 2017.

It’s not just the game, but the coaches on FUMBBL are great too. A great bunch.

Incidentally, I recently played 1st edition with my son. It is surprisingly fun! You could block people on floor! It brought back so many memories!
