I played my first FUMBBL game against real life friend in May 5th 2003 and I will be playing my 500th FUMBBL next Sunday on May 26th 2019. It will take me almost 16 years to get where many active players get in year or two, so as you may imagine I have had one or two brakes over the years.

It was introduction of BB2016 what really got me back to BB and eventually to FUMBBL and since early 2017 i have had one of the longest and the most active periods as player and Fumbbl community member.

So What has kept me active and interested? I'll tell you:
1) Moving away from IRC to Discord. I had really much abandoned IRC and I don't like posting long analysis nor taking part to often heated forum discussion. Discord allowed me to reconnect with the FUMBBL community.
2) CIBBL, BIBBL and Suomiliiga. I did give a try to leagues in 2013 and 2014 but without chat platform to support them experience was hollow. CIBBL is great league with cool tournaments, prestige points and nice logos, but still the very soul of all leagues are the people at the discord hide outs.
3) Secret League and SL tournaments. I really found SL via CIBBL and it's been good fun playing less serious games with bit silly rosters! Also talking about balance and abilities of all those custom rosters is endless source of nice blood bowl banter.
4) Fumbbl podcast. I feel like the whole podcast team are my friends, even they don't know me. My precious FUMBBL celebs! :D

I will be playing my 500th FUMBBL game in Suomiliiga(L using discord voice channel on Blood Bowl -Suomi Discord Server with Kummo. You are all invited but we will be speaking this strange ugric langue of ours.

Looking bit forward, I will be dad for the first time in my life in mid September so I will have less active period ahead again, but looking back my FUMBBL history you can be sure that I will be back.
