Game 1. The first foray!
So! Here I am...
I stumbled accross this site thinking it was an online league for the PC game Blood Bowl, but as it turns out it's something even better.
I look forward to many a night battling away with my fellow coaches.
And onto my first game. Chaos Dwarves, and a game I should have won. I inflicted two casualties early on but as ever, the gods of the dice did not favour me and some pretty basic dodge rolls went amiss. My thrower was 2 squares from the end with a turn to go but those dastardly Bull centaurs (Probably the best starting player in the game) were able to get to him before he got his toe over the line.
All in all though, I really enjoyed my first foray into the world of Fumbbl. The game was quick and went withouth a hitch.
Note to self: Try and remember how bad Orc teams are until the Black Orcs get block, remember about the Loner trait and never underestimate my inability to catch, throw or dodge without a team re-roll.
Oh, and don't bother about the ball. just kick the crap out of everyone and treat it as a fight.

Rookie orcs are good.... if you dont buy a troll (ever.... if you can) or a gobo. You're just asking for a wreckage. I just started, and my rookie orcs are 5-2-2... not bad to me.... Once i bought a troll.... blah.. I wanna release em. Leaves too many squares open when RS... bad defense, bad player... they need to stick on the Gobo teams... My opinion.

OrcStar, the troll isn't bad as long as you don't insist on doing something with him every turn. He's not a basher, he's a roadblock, so if he is where you want him to be and a block wouldn't be advantageous, don't do it :D
