I am supporting via patreon but it does not show on my supporter remark either. I am sure eventually Christer will figure it out but as Jeffro said most important is that we are supporting the site :-)

I think the badge kind of inspires other to also donate, though, so I think you should ask big C to fix yours - just for the good purpose!

It automatically turns mine to gold - I think you have to get on discord and authorize (bb auth) on the main channel - once you've done that it should update.

As far as I know a one time donation does automatically turn your badge to gold, since it's linked to the donate button. Monthly Patreon donations do not turn your badge to gold and requires manual intervention from Christer.

As of roughly a month ago, there is an automated method for Patreons. It's a bit involved though:

1. Connect your Patreon account to your Discord account. This is done on the Patreon website.
2. Authorize your FUMBBL account on Discord (message the word "auth" to BowlBot and follow instructions).
3. Wait until the next day.

This should get you your supporter badge updated on the site. BowlBot checks who has the special purple name (which is an effect of your account having the patreon specific role), and uses this together with knowledge of the connection between Discord and FUMBBL to update the supporter badges.

You're all right, it's no biggie wether the badge is there or not, the support is the main thing. But like Frylen mentions, it's also about inspiring others to do the same.

I'll try to authorize it, but I'm not getting my hopes up too high.. rarely use Discord, never logged onto Patroen before or after.. haha.
