Well I ended up playing my first game a night earlier than planned (thanks to the wife!) and I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have....

I ended up losing 3-0 against the Forest Sprites BBFC.

I should've realised it wasn't going to be my night the moment a Wood Elf Lineman seriously injured one of my Beastmen on the first turn (RIP Mama Sheep)....

Things just went from bad to worse from then on in!

But I did learn some lessons, so it's not all bad:

Lesson 1: Don't dodge when you don't have to,
Lesson 2: Minotaurs aren't that great - mine didn't do what I wanted it to and in fact, ended up with more receptions(!) than casualties...
Lesson 3: Elves are quick. I mean REALLY quick...
Lesson 4: Get back in playing another game soon as, this is the best laugh I've had in ages (and yes, I don't get out much ;))
