Secret League Open will be feature three tiers, Championship, Challenger and everyone else.

To earn a crack at the Championship belt your team will need to be one of the top-ranked teams in the Championship tier.

To advance through the tiers and up the rankings your team will need a good record against teams above them and/or place well in tournaments.

Some tournaments will only be open to teams of a certain tier. Some may be invitation only by ranking. Existing tournaments (Rumbles, Brawls, SLAMs etc) will continue to be completely open.

A team could jump directly into the Championship tier by winning a big tournament such as the SLUMBBL Cup or a high TV Shield.

Rankings will be published every couple of weeks.

The Champion should defend the belt every two to three weeks. Unless they are locked into a big tournament.
A champion who is inactive for too long will be stripped of the belt. If the Champ has a good reason for being away we could crown an Interim Champion.
