Background

Mages Amorical Guild Invitational Competition (MAGIC) is an annual mage team competition held in Altdorf by the Colleges of Magic.

In 2472 the infamous Quagmire Incident took place which saw the entire Bright Crusaders' stadium sink into the earth due to the unregulated use of magic. This incident led to on-pitch magic being banned by NAF which caused Mage teams to be kicked out of NAF and the financial impact of this caused the collapse of famous mage teams like the Mirkheim Mages and the Timelords.

In 2473 in response to this ban, the Colleges of Magic formed Dungeonbowl and at the same time formed the Mages Amorical Guild with the express aim of preserving 'on field' Mage team Blood Bowl and exhibiting it to a wider audience in the hope that the NAF will reverse the ban on magic and allow Mage teams to play again (albeit under strict regulation).

This had to happen because many College students were on sport scholarships and many others were relying on sport merits to advance in their studies. The sudden lack of blood bowl left a huge gap to fill and so the Colleges put their financial clout towards forming the MAG and with it MAGIC. It was also necessery in order for the Colleges to continue having trained sports wizards to sell off as coaching staff to other Blood Bowl teams.

As time went on MAGIC began attracting huge audiences through Cabalvision and has now become a massive cash cow for the Colleges and a huge sporting event in its own right.

The MAGIC season is split into two parts the first being the Sorcerers Pure ELite League (SPELL), a standard round robin league in which teams will play each other once. This is followed by the Colleges of Magic Cup (CMC), a Knock Out Cup tournament with the final being known as the Wizard Bowl.

This league is for the custom Human Mages team roster and will act as a play-test. It should be fun and whacky and crazy and I hope you will bring your wizard teams to play!

If anyone experienced is willing to help me admin and set this up I would be very grateful.
