POST SEASON

**
Single elimination tournament, with every team participating and the top team of the regular season getting a first round bye.
**

4th place vs. 5th place in GAME 1A
3rd place vs. 6th place in GAME 1B
2nd place vs. 7th place in GAME 1C

Winner of 1A plays 1st place team in SEMIFINALS A
Winner of 1B and winner of 1C play each other in SEMIFINALS B

Winner of each semifinals game plays each other in FINALS

The loser of each SEMIFINALS game will play each other for 3rd place.

Starting with the semi-finals and going through the finals, one random player on each team will get the Pro skill for the duration of that game. Pro gives you the chance to re-roll one die on their activation.

The winner of the tournament, and thus the league champion, will win their MVP of the finals the Pro skill permanently, plus they as a team will get an additional team re-roll for the duration of the next season. These both increase team value.

Every team will also get a cash prize. 1st place will get $100,000, second place $65,000, third place $40,000, and the remaining teams each getting $20,000.

After a season wraps up, a couple of important steps will occur:

1) Raising Funds for re-making your team for the next season, following a calculation detailed below.
2) Re-drafting your team, and if you are not switching factions the option to carry over some existing players into the new season.

The first step is how you get money to make a team. The calculation is: 1000k + 20k per game played last season + 20k per game won last season + 10k per game tied last season + your treasury.

You'll use this money to create a new team of the same faction, but you have the choice to re-roster players from your existing team. To keep a player you can spend their player value + a 20k fee per season they've played in (they have gotten an agent to help get them a little extra for re-signing).

Additionally you can retain any of your team re-rolls for the printed cost (not the 2x you pay if you buy re-rolls mid season), your apothecary for 50k, and any assistant coaches or cheerleaders for 10k each. Dedicated Fans are retained for free.

During team creation, teams are limited to a TV of 1300k.

If you keep any players that have niggling injuries, roll 1d6 (in the upkeep📈 channel) for each of them. On a result of 4+ they heal that niggling injury. If you have an apothecary you may add 1 to your roll.
