Applying to League II:
You will start each season with a treasury of 600,000 gold at the start of each season. Returning teams must repurchase their base player cost, rr, apo, assistant coaches, etcetera. Do not worry, yes this means that returning teams will have skills, but new teams will have the average NCBA returning team amount of spp to distribute across the roster.
Applying to League III:
Please use the compliant field provided to you. It will have the 2020 7s legal LOS included with a design that exemplifies your school.
Client vs. 7s Limitations: The client currently can only support an 11s sized field, therefore, the height and width of the field is much larger than a standard 7s field for now.
The client currently can only support 11s kickoff results, this means that the unique kickoff table for 7s is not implemented for now. The same kind of kickoff events that one would witness in an 11s game will be seen in these 7s matches for now.
The client currently can only support 8 turn halves, in standard 7s you would play 6 turn halves.
7s Kickoff Placement
You have the option to place up to x1 player per widezone behind your 7s field line. Your 7s field will be supplied to you by Gridironman.
You must place x3 players in the midzone on the squares directly behind the 7s line of scrimmage designated by the 7s field provided to you by the staff. This is the 4th square back from midfield.
Round Length:
Coaches must play their matches within a 2 week period. Forfeits are not punishable as long as you are communicative.
Season Format:
Conference play of x4 games--x1 out of conference match--x1 bowl OR playoff per season.
Conference Format:
Conferences must be 4-5 teams. If there are extra teams then exceptions will be made.

Teams Available:
Standard and Secret League w/banned teams consistent with the Kislev Premier Alliance. NAF Slann and Bretonnian rosters are legal. No home brewed roster from the major leagues as an example the UFL roster is home brewed and illegal for 7s.
Team Naming Conventions:
Must be unmistakenly named based on the naming conventions of US institutions but are not region locked within the BCL universe.
Team Naming Convention Examples:
Lyonesse University, Lyonesse College, Lyonesse Tech, Lyonesse A&M, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force, Space Force, Rutgers (just a believable last name like Horstons could be believable like a kind of Harvard in real life)…also feel free to mimic real college teams like you can name a team Michigan State University outright.
Geographic Footprint:
Not region locked and indeed a portal to the real world like Chris Chan if you see above Michigan State would be a viable name too even though it is a real college team.
Roster I:
RR cost double of what a standard roster would cost. It will be unlike the major leagues it supports because coaches will have full access to dedicated cheerleaders, coaches, fans, etcetera.
Roster II
The roster onsite must be no larger than 11 players. The excel roster will be 7 players deep. Please feel free to ferret away x7 3 skill players to the bench for a 7s championship run. People should be rewarded for associating within the grey zone to win because it is problem solving as healthy dopamine hit relative to video games at least in terms of health.
Roster III:
There may be x4 positionals…out of a max of 11 players.
Roster IV:
Unprotected players with 4 skills are auto added to the next draft whether or not they are on the active roster unless you expend your territoriality function in one of two ways (redshirting and advanced scouting).
Roster V:
If you are over the 1600 gold cap at the start of a season you must send players to the excel, cut rr, or players. However, you must always start the season with at least 7 players. Redshirted players do not cost anything. You may draw an additional player from your 7s excel after round 1 Out of Conference match.
Kickoff:
x1 allowed in each wide zone and 0 on the line of scrimmage makes the teams and keeps the fun of a match for both coaches going longer. X3 on the 7s line of scrimmage.
Inducements:
Everything goes besides star players and Bugman/infamous staff. There are no home brewed interactions with inducements beyond what was stated.
Fouling:
You are allowed to foul at your discretion as a coach.
MVP:
5 applicants to force at least x1 lineman will receive skills on occasion.
Returning for Next Season:
The teams treasuries deviate back to 600k gold. All the prices remain the same, and each learned skill does NOT effect pricing. All other aspects of the team such as rr, apo, base players etcetera remain the same. If you would like to retain players you may send them to the excel reserves that you would have otherwise cut (not part of the active team). During the season you can certainly go above this standard allotment. Redshirted players do not drain any of the 600k gold.
Transfer Portal Draft:
Prior to a season, fired players such as those with injuries automatically enter the transfer portal (injuries disappear in the portal), prior to a new season you have x the number of transfer portal picks as the amount of players that you have sent there. You may also elect to send players there regardless of injury condition. Draft order is completely RANDOM. To be clear you may have 3 picks and receive the first 3 picks—just like in the real life transfer portal!!
Advanced Scouting:
BCL coaches that coach in 7s league would have x1 advanced scouting from their 7s team automatically bonus draft to their major team or break the 7s rule of having MORE than 4 skills on a roster with a max of 6 called redshirting. In universe, advanced scouting is acknowledged as the pro team funding the school’s operating costs in part. Advanced scouting means that x1 player from your 7s team will go straight to the Pro team’s excel or main roster prior to the draft in an effort of protecting their investment. A player with 6 skills is allowed to play for x1 year after earning their legendary status, but afterwards the school is forced to graduate them with some bogus degree. For instance, game 7 of the season Master Piece the player receives his 6th skill and finishes out the season. He is allowed to play one more year of sevens before the league forces him into the pro draft. YES, the major league coach can trade territoriality for their current 7s year to another coach explicitly for that other coach to draw a player from the 7's team in exchange for something else of trade value.
Redshirting:
Prior to a major league draft you may elect to protect x1 draft eligible player by redshirting them. You may redshirt a player each season--no restrictions. If you own a major league team you can use this function to add them to your team prior to the major leagues' draft in a method called advanced scouting BUT that means your redshirt action has been expended. Due to the existence of advanced scoutin, 7s exclusive coaches have an upper hand over the major league coaches because redshirting is always better for the 7s team than sending players to the 11s leagues. Redshirted players do not drain any of the 600 k provided to returning teams.
Rivalries I:
Rivals must share a conference, at the end of the season rivalries are declared. Their rivalry strength is determined by their W+D/games played. The strongest rivalry goes to one conference and the second strongest goes to the other, the third to the third best etcetera. Then the 4th best goes to the third in a snake draft. This evens out the competitiveness to provide SPP opportunities but also to make it more fun for more coaches.
Rivalries II:
x1 Rival can be mutually declared if not then matched randomly by the commisioner. You do not lose a rival until they leave the league. During S1 No rivalry is allowed until the second season because you need to feel the hatred and a necessity for history. Once every other team is paired up mutually the remaining teams match as rivals more or less voluntarily because every team NEEDS a rival for rivalry SPP access. A rival must exist within your current conference. Winner from the previous year retains a jpeg of a trophy if they win or draw their match with their rival. If they lose, they must remove the trophy and the other team now has the trophy jpeg on their page. An attacking player is rewarded +3 spp for a kill from a foul. An Attacking player is rewarded +2 spp for a badly hurt, MNG, Stat-, or n injury from a foul.
