Welcome to the Monday Night Champions League, brought to you by the makers of Monday Night Fourball. For this tourney, MNF stands for Monday Night Factions, as this format mimics the faction division. This tourney involve full teams of the LRB rosters. However, only one team of each race may play.

<b>What do you need to do to apply?</b>

Place a post on the Tournament thread indicating four LRB teams in order of the preference you would like to play them. After I get 8 (or 12 or 16 depending on response to the league) lists of teams, I will randomly determine an order to who gets their first choice and go down the list of coaches in alphabetical order after the first choice.

After the initial teams have been chosen, anyone is still welcome to join the league with a race that is not currently in use. PM me for more details or questions.

NOTE: THE LEAGUE WILL START ON 5/2/05. However, you can join anytime you like; you just may have to play up a bit.

<b>What is the style of play?</b>

**Round robin tournaments in which all matches are played on Monday Nights from 7:30-11:30, US/Canada Central Standard Time.
**No star players (except for stunties)
**Wizards allowed
**Scoring
Win = 10 points
Tie = 4 points
TD = 2 points
CAS = 2 points

<b>How do teams progress?</b>

**During the first week (or two), the top four teams that earn the most points will become the premier league. The next four teams will comprise the national league. If there are more than eight teams, the bottom teams will be in the carp league. Team match ups for the first game will be randomly determined (unless EVERYONE agrees to pick match ups). After the first game, match ups will be determined in the typical MNF format...namely just ask someone to play.
**After all round robin games are played in each round, the top team in the division will move up a division. The bottom team in each will go down a division. Order of the games in the division will be randomly determined in a Round Robin Format.


<b>Who plays in this tournament</b>?

Anyone who is free during the designated night and times. Most of the original members will be from the MNF fourball league, however, if you can commit the time to play and have an interest please send me a PM. This tourney is designed to balance play between those coaches who have differing skill levels or differing recurrent luck level. The more you lose, the lower the division. The more you win, the higher the division.

<b>Style of Game Play</b>

As there will be 2-3 games played per night, coaches are encouraged to play fast games. If you cannot make a week, just send celas a PM, so I know to drop your team down to the Carp division (with no love lost for you).

<b>Is there a chat channel?</b>

Yes, We will use #MNF. Please meet there by 7:30 (GMT-6 I think).

<b>Theme for the league</b>

Your team must have a soccer theme. If it does not, you will have to remake it. And yes, we are calling it soccer, because this is freakin' North America :p
