<b><a name=#season>SEASON-BY-SEASON SUMMARY</a></b>
<b>SEASON 44</b>
The team arrives at Faction 1 after three consecutive promotions, knowing their low TR will be a handicap. The first season is brutal — 4 deaths (2 WDs). Difficulties in fielding 11 players at every drive, lack of cash to buy rerolls and replacements, and some bad luck at critical moments all combine to produce our worst season so far: 1 victory, 3 ties and 4 painful losses. Lots of fans leave the team.
<b>SEASON 45</b>
After barely escaping relegation in round 44, the management board invests in a reroll, and it pays off spectacularly — the team ends with a record of 5-1-2 and wins its first gold medal. A rebuilding process is a must after two rounds in F1.
<b>SEASON 46</b>
The season of extremes. Two team marks are reached: max. TR and TS, and best results in a F1 season (194 points). Two invaluable lessons are learned: never underestimate handicaps and never forget how frail elves are. The roster is decimated, from 15 to 11 players, in just 2 games, losing 4 star players and several others. Despite that blow, the team wins a bronze medal.
<b>SEASON 47</b>
Rebuilding the team is a chimera. Locust is niggled and leaves the team after just 4 games. Meteor dies while dodging away in his second game. And Spring Tide ages at the 76 mark! Somehow, however, we win our second gold medal.
<b>SEASON 48</b>
A nightmare of a round. All the games are up for grabs, but we lose most of them simply by rolling 1s (repeatedly) at the worst times. The death of both our Wardancers in the opener is a major setback and the team runs out of steam.
<b>SEASON 49</b>
The Champions steal the gold medal just a few minutes before the end of the round. A good season despite the death of <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=1958889">Hail</a>, the <i>Top Blocker Wood Elf Catcher in Faction History</i>. This title goes for you, buddy.
<b>SEASON 50</b>
A promising start ends up in total disappointment. The team decides to focus on surviving for the following season. Some of our best players die or retire: <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2072306">Downpour</a>, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2109815">Eurus</a>, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2068403">Hecatomb</a>... <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=1903839">Fire II</a> retires after suffering a second niggling injury. He lead the Champions to 3 golds and 1 bronze, and is the <i>Best Wood Elf Thrower in Faction History</i>. He will undoubtedly enter the team's future Hall of Fame.
<b>SEASON 51</b>
We have to make do with a silver medal after failing to win our last game, a specially bloody match against the Star Orcs 2 (medical report: 2/4/1). New players are badly needed to bring some new life to the team.
<b>SEASON 52</b>
<a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=1993560">Typhoon</a>, the best scorer in the team's history, retires to make way for new players. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2155819">Snow Storm</a> is fouled to death, and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2071205">Cataclysm</a>, the <i>Top Blocker Wardancer in Faction History</i>, quits BB after leading the team to its fourth gold medal and a record 6 victories.
<b>SEASON 53</b>
Last season's reorganization is a success. However, the team can only win a silver medal after some seriously rotten luck and poor coaching mistakes. Winning back-to-back titles will have to wait.
<b>SEASON 54</b>
The number of fans increases after launching a new line of merchandise. Most points in a round and fifth gold medal. Unfortunately, we suffer four niggling injuries, two deaths, and two stat decreases.
<b>SEASON 55</b>
All eyes are looking to the Fumbbl Cup, so only a few coaches complete their eight games. With a shamefully low score, the team wins its first back-to-back title and sixth gold. Being the strongest team in Faction 1 sucks, though. Our last game is a tie against <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=112560">Unagi</a>, the boldest Skaven team we ever faced, and which was sadly retired this round.
<b>SEASON 56</b>
Food for thought. 13th round in F1 and depressing luck. Nuffle punishes us mercilessly four games in a row (3 routs and 1 tie). Fed up with ridiculous plays and countless roll failures, the coach resigns, but the board refuses it. Tied for silver, we end up with the bronze medal.
<b>SEASON 57</b>
Too many old stars begin to cause problems in the locker room and team chemistry is missing. Unable to play all games, the Champions are demoted to F2 after some adverse results (suffering from virus every game also helps).
<b>SEASON 58</b>
Lots of players die or retire, such as <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=1882676">Force of Nature</a>, the best Tree ever in Faction, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=1814021">Drought</a>, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2193297">Erosion</a>, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2112091">Mildew</a>, and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2278452">Turbulence</a>. TR drops from 328 to 208. Only 8 players left. Every team abuses us. Lots of games will be lost before we become competitive once more.
<b>SEASON 59</b>
A period of ignominy and humiliating defeats (10 players lost in 10 games). We release a new anthem, "You will never block alone", to keep fans. Just when things looked more promissing, we lose three players in a game. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=2144054">Sleet</a>, our best player ever, must retire after suffering a second niggling injury. TR plummets to 143 and we promote to F1 without really wanting to!
<b>SEASON 60</b>
We are the weakest team in F1 (177/164). The objective is to get back to 11 players while staying in the division. As always, a promising +ST Wardancer ages on his second skill. The team performs surprisingly well and finishes 4 points short of a medal.
<b>SEASON 61</b>
The new players manage to win the seventh gold medal for the club, despite being trampled to death by some Skaven. In what is becoming a habit, another Wardancer ages on his second skill (as his two predecessors). Rebuilding begins anew with 9 players.
<b>SEASON 62</b>
Truly heartbreaking season. After losing 3-6 in the opener (9 players available), the players get in the groove and win all games except the last one, a clash with Psi5 Trading Company, where we are deprived of victory by the kickoff result: injury time. Still worse, that random event is what eventually costs us the gold medal, which goes to an incredibly strong Dark Elf team, the Deadland Thorns.
<b>SEASON 63</b>
Incensed by the events of the previous round, the Champions shatter the Faction record for most points in a round!! The new DP makes only two fouls, but his nastiness rubs off on the rest of the players, who kill several stars and force a couple of teams to retire (for which we apologize wholeheartedly). We are now on a par with the Ambassadors of Light for most gold medals!
<b>SEASON 64</b>
This season sees our (literally) strongest squad ever, with six +ST increases. As the tradition goes, a season after winning a title we underachieve, but oddly we finish in third spot despite being blown out by the Chaos team Seasons End in the last game of the round.
<b>SEASON 65</b>
Accused of cherry picking and playing too much elfbowl (and rightly so, since I like the "bowl" part better and not having the team decimated [thanks for the quote, Narim]) the Champions' new goal will be to prove wrong the naysayers. Despite a 10/9/8 cas record and our worst defeat ever (2-6 vs Amazons), we win our fourth bronze medal.
<b>SEASON 66</b>
A second crisis hits the team. With 11 players lost in the last 10 games, only 8 players are available to play. The main goal this round is to rebuild the team, and, if possible, stay in F1. Fan Factor decreases three games in a row! :S
<b>SEASON 67</b>
Nice round despite lots of dead or injured players. Only a handful of games with 11 players. A new bronze medal. Rebuilding goes on.
<b>SEASON 68</b>
Several great players, such as <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2533547">Temperature</a>, leave their place to rookies, in the hope of a better future for the team. Let's hope they can become the stars of tomorrow! Despite playing just 7 games, we manage to win another bronze medal.
<b>SEASON 69</b>
The team struggles to get back to 11 players. Only five games played, but enough to avoid relegation.
<b>SEASON 70</b>
A very disappointing season. Despite having a fine roster, I give away 3 easy wins due to stupid mistakes and spp greed. Surprisingly enough, such a display of ineptitude results in a bronze medal.
<b>SEASON 71</b>
We lose 4 players (1 dead and 3 niggled and fired) against Humans in the opening game and 3 players (plus 2 MNG) against Amazons in the closing game. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=2474835">Wrath of Nature</a>, our best blocker ever, and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=2902844">Afterglow</a>, a brilliant WD, retire. The team loses or ties four games in the clutch and hits a new low. Completely nuffled out in most games. BIG RECOVERY ahead.
<b>SEASON 72</b>
The team is in shambles. Worst streak ever with 4 defeats (dropped to <b>TS 147!!</b>). A +ST lino and a WD niggle at 16 spp. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2695609">Dust Devil</a> niggles at 76 spp. A bit of relief comes against some dwarves in the final game. The team is now formed of mostly rookies.
<b>SEASON 73</b>
Not enough time to play games and watch the soccer world cup at the same time. :D
<b>SEASON 74</b>
The team replaces its "score more" philosophy with a "control the game tempo" approach that produces 6 wins (5 of them by 1TD) and a record ninth gold medal. We train our first one-turner after 250+ games but don't need to use him.
<b>SEASON 75</b>
Incredibly pleasant round, considering we played just one elf team. The team has 16 players for the first time, proving that quantity, not quality, is the key for back-to-back gold medals.
<b>SEASON 76</b>
A 3peat looked feasible until the last two games. We failed twice the winning gfi against woodies, and then we were outclassed by the eventual winner of the round, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1300054">Anorkia F</a>, an Orc team with an excellent coach. The unbeaten streak thus ended at 21 games.
<b>SEASON 77</b>
The team grows stronger than ever, but fortunately some Orcs and Humans trim down the TR a bit. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&team_id=196303">Hamtaros</a> and his superb gutter runner, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=2633389">Hope</a>, challenge and beat us 5-6 in a thrilling last game. Nevertheless, we win the 11th gold medal.
<b>SEASON 78</b>
As the strongest team this round, we win a record 8 consecutive games, scoring 269 points in a round, an <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=factions">absolute record in F1</a>. The team has picked (TS 292), however, and lack of money and ageing will weaken the team sooner or later. FF26 and 12th gold medal.
<b>SEASON 79</b>
First three-peat and 13th gold medal despite losing 2 games and a combination of handicaps and an ageing roster that reduce the team's competitiveness. Streak stops at 11 consecutive victories. <b>FF28</b>, w00t!!!
<b>SEASON 80</b>
<a href="http://fumbbl.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=1118">300 games</a>, FF30, 900 TDs, and a huge loss - <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=3149523">Teleportation</a> dies from a 1 dice pow from a non-tackling amazon in a <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1379867">bloody game</a>. Seven deaths in three games! :P
<b>SEASON 81</b>
The team will get a deserved rest, at least until Faction 1 mystery is solved one way or the other. Not enough time to play actively in Faction these days and no desire to waste time looking for games.
<b>SEASONS 82 to 87</b>
Faction rules were changed to avoid groups of friends taking F1 captive. The team tries to climb back to F1, although no many games can be played. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=3095343">Alpenglow</a>, one of the best Faction wardancers ever, retires without a single niggling injury to make room for new players. We will miss you! You were almost a god on the pitch!!!
<b>SEASON 88</b>
After a long journey across the desert, the team is back in F1 and wins a bronze medal. The team also decides to join the ranks of E.L.F just to endorse its philosophy (a close environment like Faction means no chances of winning it).
<b>SEASON 89</b>
The team manages to keep 16 players alive for several games, and as a result, the team treasury swells up to 310k!!! FF reaches 30 and the team wins a fifth silver medal.
<b>SEASON 90</b>
The treasury quickly dries up as the team suffers over 30 casualties this round. FF reaches 31 and the team wins another bronze medal despite a 6/1/1 record and being avoided by other coaches to complete the game quota.
<b>SEASON 91</b>
Winning streak ends at 13 games. We break the all-time record for most points in a round with 314 points (9 wins and 1 tie). This young and exciting roster has old players and fans swelling with pride.
<b>SEASON 92</b>
A record of 5 wins and 2 ties is enough to win back-to-back titles. The team is unbeatean for the last 24 games.
<b>SEASON 93</b>
9 wins and 303 points. We cannot play the 10th game and thus cannot attempt to break the current record for most points in a round. Unbeaten for 33 games and second three-peat!!!
<b>SEASON 94</b>
6 wins and 2 losses for our first four-peat, matching the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=37273">Ambassadors of Light</a> as the only teams that have achieved such a feat. Low winnings and a mounting casualty rate put the team in dire straits for next season.
<b>SEASON 95</b>
Rebuilding season where, for the first time in the last 8 seasons, the team does not finish in the top 3. A 3-1-2 record and a 7th place that infuriates the fan base, which drops to 27.
<b>SEASON 96</b>
Close round where we manage to win a 18th gold medal, with commendable wins against great teams (<a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1663822">Chaos Gods</a>, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1667876">Rainbow Warriors or The Boos</a>) and woeful defeats against two Dark Elf teams (<a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1665168">Dark Revolver</a> and <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1673122">Ched-Nasad</a>). <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=3404436">Neutron</a> is niggled and retires.
<b>SEASON 97</b>
The season looks very promising until we play <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1689758">Win is our drug</a>, a game where both wardancers are lost!!! The casualties begin to mount in the next games and we only win a 19th gold because <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=176045">Atrapados en el Tiempo</a> played fewer games than us. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=3902772">Kaleidoscope</a> ends his successful career with 57 games and 136 spp.
<b>SEASON 98</b>
The team loses 4 consecutive games and 5 consecutive points of fan factor! But then it wins 6 consecutive games and is just a few points away from getting a medal. The board is confident the team will return to its winning ways next round.
<b>SEASON 99</b>
The team wins the 20th gold medal..., despite several major errors, like a misclick that costs us a win.
<b>SEASON 100</b>
The team is trashed by <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1741354">Tutti Tosti</a> in the first game of the round. A few games later, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1742648">Dominus Decorum</a> annihilates the few remaining elves, although the Champions win the game in spectacular fashion. 5 losses and 4 wins, but the TR plummets as low as 145. This is probably the team's worst crisis ever (FF 22).
<b>SEASON 101</b>
We play several games with fewer than 10 players (those damn rookies keep ageing), and our opponents have an average of 50 TS more than us. Fan factor decreases to 21. Despite those handicaps, the Champions pull off a few shocking wins and ties (3/3/4) against superior opponents. Silver medal in an incredibly difficult round.
<b>SEASON 102</b>
Very slow round where we only manage to play 6 games. However, with the preponderance of bashy teams in F1, recovery is now never-ending. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=158880">Tutti Tosti</a> beat us for the third time. Fan Factor alarmingly drops to 19!!!
<b>SEASON 103</b>
How times change! The Champions of Nature remain as the only Elf team left in all of F1.
<b>SEASON 104</b>
We just manage to play 5 games, and finish 16 points behind gold winner... Incredible TD difference in just 5 games — 22 for, 3 against.
<b>SEASON 105</b>
Not enough games played to mount a challenge for gold. We have to make do with the tenth bronze medal. <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=1831451">Matadores Locos</a> kill our two wardancers in one game...<hr>
