<i>The Golden Age of prosperity and safety within the Old World has lasted over 20 Decades, don't be deceived though, for underneath its shiny lustre lingers the darkness that the naive and foolish have long since forgotten. Unknown to the broad masses, the probing tendrils of Chaos have began to grow again as the Wastes to the North pulsate with the renewed foul energy of chaotic corruption.
Complaisant in their comfy homes, the people are blind to the clues about them. Vile Cults and daemonic sects grow and plot within the great cities. Lands untouched by the Second Great Incursion of Chaos are now vulnerable to the enemy within. Even the Bloodbowl fields run amock with the foul taint of Chaos. TRUBBL is brewing my friends, I hope you're prepared..." </i>

Do you have a long lost and sorely missed Unranked team?
A squad of players so advanced and terrifying you had to move them to the lesser div through fear of scaring other [R]'d Fumbblers?
Maybe you felt a need for change and switched to only to wish you'd kept them...

If you answered yes to any of the above this is the place to come!

The TRUBBL Forum Thread can be found <a href=http://fumbbl.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=8729>here</a>.

<H3>Staff Vacancies</h3>
At the moment the tournament has only one staff member - myself. Obviously this will have to change if we have any hope of reaching par with certain other long term leagues.
Anyone interested in applying for one of the following positions should contact Stampy via IRC or PM.

<b>Vice President</b>
The Vice President is second in Command to the President. He is to act on par with the President and assumes responsiblity for any decisions in his absence.

<b>Press Spokesperson</b>
The role of the press spokesperson is to moderate and run the fluff roleplay board. Ideally the vacancie will be taken by someone who's already demonstrated their capabilities via the GLN or any similar piece.

<b>Challenge Co-Ordinator</b>
The Challenge Co-Ordinator is responsible for handling any challenges handed out during the course of a TRUBBL Season. He is to forward all necessary details to the correct individuals. The Challenge Co-Ordinator is also encouraged to report new methods and ideas to improve the system to the President by means of a seasonal report.

<H3>TRUBBL Structure</H3>
There are no Divisions within TRUBBL. Every team falls into one massive Inaugral Open style tournament. In essence TRUBBL represents Blood Bowl in the Old World. Matches, fees and venues are arranged by the managing directors of the clubs who travel from venue to venue building points to qualify for the big money Majors.
Nothing within the Open is fixed, every member of the league is permitted to play anyone else , the only restriction is no one is allowed to play the same team (not coach) more than once a season. Several tournaments and mini leagues will run for 4 weeks between seasons. The individual structure of these events will differ, as will the entry requirements and qualification procedures. At the end of five season's the highest scoring teams will go forward and compete in the prestigious Old World National Shield to be crowned Champions of the World.

<LI>Fresh teams must await the completion of the current season and complete a game in the Minor League to qualify for a place in the Open.

<H3>TRUBBL Open</H3>
A TRUBBL open season runs for 2 Months. Coaches are permitted to play any other member of the TRUBBL league regardless of Team Rating or Race. The TRUBBL governing body relies heavily on mangers and directors using good judgement to preserve the safety of their players and fans.

The scoring is as follows:-

<table border="2" align="center" bgcolor="beige"><tr><th colspan="2" bgcolor="darkseagreen">TRUBBL OPEN Scoring System</th></tr><tr><th bgcolor="darkseagreen">Result</th><th bgcolor="darkseagreen">Points</th></tr><tr><td><b>Win</b></td><td>7</td></tr><tr><td><b>Draw</b></td><td>3</td></tr><tr><td><b>Loss</b></td><td>1</td></tr><tr><td><b>Concession</b></td><td>0</td></tr><tr><th colspan="2" bgcolor="darkseagreen">Seasonal Awards</th></tr><tr><th bgcolor="darkseagreen">Award</th><th bgcolor="darkseagreen">Points</th></tr><tr><td><b>Most Casualties Caused</b></td><td>12</td></tr><tr><td><b>Most TD's scored</b></td><td>12</td></tr><tr><td><b>Most Completions</b></td><td>12</td></tr></table>

Players that feel they have qualified for one of the 3 Periodic Awards are to send an entrants PM to Stampy for investigation. Results will be displayed and the points totals manually updated.

<h3>Challenge Procedures</h3><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/Renegade22UK/manager.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting" align="right"></a>
It is possible for coaches to exclude powerful teams from the Majors and Old World National Shield by refusing to play them. To alleviate this each coach is entitled a maximum of two written challenges per season. The challenge proposal must be PM'd to the Challenge Co-ordinator, who will obtain an official response from the challenged coach and take appropriate action. A challenged coach must make one of the following three responses within a 2 days of receiving the challenge. A team can only challenge someone within 20 TR of his own.
<li><b>Accept:</b> A challenged coach may agree to play the match, and the two teams play the match as normal.</li>
<li><b>Refuse:</b> A challenged coach may refuse to play the match. In which case he loses 5 points from his seasonal points total. </li>
<li><b>Substitute:</b> A challenged coach may ask any other coach that is willing to take his place to play the match instead. The substitute coach must be a member of the current TRUBBL Open, and must not have played against the challenger so far. The Substitute player must contact the Challenge Co-ordinator who will inform the challenger and make a post on the Challenge Forum. The original Challenger must play the Substitute, or suffer a 5 point deficit to his total Season score. Again, the substitute must be within 20 TR of the original challenger.</li>

<H3>TRUBBL Minor League</h3>
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/Renegade22UK/TML-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting" align="left"></a>
The<a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=3724>TRUBBL Minor league</a> is a non-competitive non-scoring league where teams await the new season, recover from previous beatings or train and build. It's also the feeding ground from which all TRUBBL Open Competitors are selected.
Coaches wishing to enter the TRUBBL Open must do so via the TML. Only one game within the League is necessary to qualify a place.

<b>***Please Note - The TML will not become active until the first TRUBBL Season has begun. Any entrants between now and the Grand Opening will automatically be allocated a place in the Open.***</b>

<H3>Independant Tournaments</H3>
A regular season is followed by varying tournaments organised by independent governing bodies. The qualifcation procedures differ slightly from event to event but generally teams are seeded and given priority based on their performance in the previous season. The standard running time for a tournament is one month. However, certain Major tourneys will be allowed a 2 week extension dependant on the structure and the estimated completion time.
There is no requirement to compete in these competitions, teams may wish to stay on the road, play as and when they want and prepare for the next season. Many Coaches pick the tournaments most suited to their style to best afford them a chance of qualifying for the Old World national Shield.
At the completion of 5 Seasons Bloodbowl players and fans alike rejoice the arrival of the Greatest Bloodbowling Event of the Calendar... The Old World National Shield!

<b>***Important!!!
If you will be offline for a week or more please inform tourney admin as soon as possible.Coaches are also asked to refrain from entering tournaments they may not be able to complete***</b>
