This group is the highest echelon of the NBL. Coaches vie for the legendary Avatar Cup while players contest for the ultimate prize: the block skill. This skill, which is said to come from the gods themselves, may even be godhood itself bestowed upon a player of Blood Bowl. Teams that have achieved a level of ability to compete for the Avatar Cup are given a special invitation to join the group and compete in the ultimate tournament.

Any <b>ONE</b> player who participates on the team that wins the Avatar Cup and must choose a skill following the playoffs may choose Block as that skill.
