<b>LEAGUE RULES:</b>

1) Only Rookie [L]Undead teams may apply for league membership.
1a) Teams in the B&F can only play league games at this time.
2) Each team must field at least 5 (five) skeletons and 5 (five) zombies at all time, finances willing.
2a) Rule Clarification: This mean 5 of each on roster and 5 of each playing on the field - of course injuries will play havoc on this rule. It is more in place as a spirit rule to prevent teams to only field zombies or skeletons - the idea is to have a mixture of both.
3) Only zombies and skeletons may be hired and placed on the roster.
3a) That also means no hiring of star players.
4) Misc team elements such as Wizards, apothecaries, etc will be allowed not be allowed since Undead teams can't access them anyhow.
5) Each owner may only have one team active in the league.
6) The Hockey Goon Rule. Teams may only employ one Dirty Player at a given time.
7) Rules about deadlines and owner who fail to show are detailed below.
8) The Evil Powers That Be (team owners of the league) may change, add, or subtract any rule with a 75% majority decision.


<b>B&F Season 1 Match Deadlines:</b>

Each round has a one week window ending on Monday 3am server time or 9pm Sunday my time. This is set in order to keep play moving but long enough to allow owners to have... um... lives outside the game.

If the game has yet to be played and both owners have PMed each other and myself saying contact was attempted but a game was unable to be scheduled the game will result in a draw with both teams getting 2pts for the draw but obviously no team growth thru play.

If the game has yet to be played and one owner PMed me or one owner is offline for the entire week the game will result in a forfeit. The owner of the team who PMed will get a forfeit win and 2 pts. The owner of the absent team will receive a negative 1 point and friendly PM saying come back to us - you are missed.

If the game has yet to be played and neither owner PMed me or both are offline for the entire week the game will result in a double forfeit. Both owners will receive the negative point and both will get that same friendly PM asking if they took a vacation together.

In addition, (beginning with round 3) if an owner fails to play 3 games consectively and fails to PM explaining why he disappeared he may (and likely will) kicked from the league to make room for someone who will play.

<b>LEAGUE RANDOM INFO:</b>
1) I'm from Ohio so North American coaches will likely see me online most of the time. The league is open to all as I'm sure our friends across the way love zombies as much as I do.
2) I'm really looking for a good bunch of owners who play for fun, improvement, and winning. And in that order.
3) Fluff is encouraged. At the team level, the player level and even the match level. Tell us about your zombies so we can laugh... er learn.
4) Yeah I know there are things that will come up and what we will do... absent players, forfeits, etc... But we'll handle em and I refer you back to item 2. Fun!

<b>LEAGUE NEWS BLOG:</b>

- Sept 30: It is my hope we'll begin our kickoff classic tourney when we get anywhere from 8-12 owners depending on interest. After that we'll begin season 1. I'd like to throw in an occassional silly tourney in between seasons. But for now, I'd be happy with 7 other owners who are willing to try this idea out.
- Oct 4: In order to gain more interest in the league, we're considering changes in the way in which we schedule games here at the beginning.
- Oct 6: Updated the group page a little and clarified a few rules. Gathering owners everyday and plan to start league play very soon. In fact, today is opening day. We have our inital owners. Also I added a basic league logo.
- Oct 10: Minor rule updates and added links to both the general thread as well as the match report thread.
- Oct 13: Settled on the one week window for each round moving forward thus eliminating one of the unfinished league elements I should have considered from the beginning.
- Oct 21: Added a few rules about non-playing owners.
