<font color="black">"Albion, a strategic island place in the Sea of Chaos. From here an army can easily ascend without warning on nearby ports and towns. To the North lies the lands of the Dark Elves and worshipers of Chaos, to the East is Norsca, to the South-West lies the protected realm of the High Elves and to the South-East is the Kingdoms of Humans in the Old World and beyond that lies the underground Holds of the Dwarfs, Land of the Dead and roaming Orc warbands.

Who ever holds Albion and has a navy can bring the whole world to its knees, by commanding trade routes passing through the Sea of Chaos. Endless wars have been fought over this island and its constant wet weather. In the end to save lives of brave warriors, the races of the world decided to settle this dispute in a civilized manner; by playing Blood Bowl, and Albion is the prize....."

And so it stood, when a mysterious illness claimed nearly the entire staff of the league. War seemed imminent, with several groups already prepared. It seemed certain that it had all been a setup, and war would prevail. Most of the teams participating were dead or disbanded, but a steadfast group held on, and forestalled the wars, with a significant bribery.

And so it now stands, a temporary reprieve, but the games must go on, or it will all end.</font><B><!---

<font color="black">This is meant to be a mostly fluff-based league, so try to bring a team that you're interested in keeping around.</font></B><!---

<font color="black">Games are to be played according to the schedule. 1 game/10 days - though a rolling schedule is in place, if you are able to play ahead then you may do so. :)</font></B><!---

---><B><U><font color="blue">League Format:</U></font>

<font color="black">The A.B.B.A. Major League, is the league proper, where structured matches and the championships are played. Only one team per Coach is allowed. There is also a salary cap (TR) to help maintain parity in the league. The salary cap will be based on the previous season's play-off teams.</font></B><!---

---><B><U><font color="blue">Scoring System:</U></font>

<font color="black">+3 points for a win
+1 points for a draw
0 points for a loss
-1 point for a forfeit</font></B><!---

---><B><U><font color="blue">Bounty Hunters:</U></font>

<font color="black">Bounties: A coach may issue a bounty at any time during a season. Although, only a single bounty may be active at any one time. Bounties may be changed only at mid season or if the current bounty has been collected.

Any team injuring a bounty (must be a perm) get 1 pt add to their score, if a team kills a bounty they get 2 pts awarded.

The award is not given, if the apothecary heals the player with a bounty on their head. </font></B><br /><br /><!---

---><B><U><font color="blue">Relegation:</U></font>

<font color="black">Teams can be regulated down from the Majors to the Minors, only during the off-season, but have no other restrictions (I.E. you're not required to move a team up from the Minors, if you so choose). This is to allow Coaches the option of taking a season off, but still play in the Minors and be part of the league.</font></B><!---

---><B><U><font color="blue">Fines:</U></font>

<font color="black">Any player sent off for fouling will incur a fine. This value must be paid as soon as possible by the team, by hiring and firing cheerleaders or coaches. The value will change based on the severity of the foul, and possibly the player.

KO or BH: 10K
SI, no permanent injury: 20k
SI, permanent injury, RIP : 30k

Add an additional 10k to this value if the player was a Dirty Player, as they have a reputation as... well... dirty players. (Members of the original league, please note that fines no longer apply to stuns, as the team has already suffered worse than the opposition.).

Insignificant funds results in a one game suspension for the fined player. If the suspended player is forced to be on to the field, place him in the end zone area and both coaches must ignore him (you may only move him if he is in the way of normal play).</font></B><!---
