Dirk Mangleberry, CEO of Mangleberry's Juice Corporation, Mangleberry's Ferries, Mangleberry's Magics Inc. and all other subsidiaries of the Mangleberry conglomerate, has developed a keen interest in Bloodbowl Sevens. Indeed, his employees are now encourage to form inter-office leagues and join in on the fun.

Now, as much as Mangleberry loves his Sevens, he longs to see some professionalism in the teams. And being one of the wealthiest individuals in the Warhammer world, he sees it as his duty to enforce these improvements.

Therefore to a few, carefully selected, teams, he is offering intensive training. More excitingly though, he is stumping up a huge bounty, an enormous prize pool. This will not go to the teams though; instead, the players will benefit. To the winners of every game, a season's wages. (Equivalent to the current payscale at the Reikland Reavers.) This shocking news has reverberated around the globe, and many professional teams suddenly find themselves short of one or two players, as they make their way towards the Mangledome. Reports are coming in that such illustrious players as Jordell Freshbreeze and Morg'n'Thorg are making their way towards the Mangleberry Cup. If that weren't enough, it is also rumoured that Mangleberry's Magics Inc. will be involved in the competition.

Rules

This is a professional tournament for amateur sevens teams. Each team will play in a points based qualifier to get the opportunity to go onto the knockout competition.

There are 6 qualifiers of 4 teams each. Teams accrus points in exactly the same way as for the mini leagues. The winner of each group will go through the knock out stages. The two best scoring runner ups will also go through.

Each coach may enter ONE team (no TR limitations). However, some of the normal BB7s rules are put on hold. Star players ARE permitted (up to a maximum of two per team, per match). Wizards ARE permitted. ReRolls ARE permitted (maximum of one per team, not including Leader).

Please note that none of these extras may be purchased prior to the tournament. Any use of wizards/stars/rerolls in normal play is still prohibited. Similarly, these Mangleberry Extras must be removed as soon as a team leaves the tournament.

Teams that do not have access to two star players (Amazons, High Elves, etc.) may hire one freebooter AFTER they have hired their star. Normal position rules do not apply. This is to keep numbers fair.

Star players will act like the birthday zombies, in that they may take a team's total players above 7, and if they do, the extra players will sit in the endzone.

All other BB7s rules (scouting, etc) will continue as normal.
