OMG LRB4 MY POOR NIGGLERS GET OLD AND NIGGLED

Make blood not war :3

update 7/15/2010
:siren:Less than 1 week to play your week 3 games:siren:

FEEL FREE TO PLAY WEEK 4
Retromancer will log in for the concede with Creth. We will replace him with someone who wants to play a chaos team (Mecharasputin, Sair, Corte, Etc).

Now I will lay the ground rules for Losers League:
4 players will be selected to play in a losers league for a chance at the wild card for the finals.
Alternates who were swapped in for game 2 or later will have automatic entry. From there the top score 3rd place players from any division will be selected (in the event of a tie TD's will be used to decide) until there are 4 players.
This will mean we have 3 Semi-Final tournaments. All of them will have 4 players. There will be a US semis with the top 2 from DivA an DivB. There will be an International semis with the top 2 from DivA and DivB. And the loser league with alternates and 3rd placers.
The top score from each of those will move to the finals.
The finals will have 3 players. They will each play each other once and if there is a clear score leader (not by TD) we will have a CHAMPION. If there are tie scores there will be OVERTIME finals. A second round of games. If there are more tie scores it will go to DOUBLE JEOPARDY OVERTIME (with the exact same rules cyclicly).

I want a clear winner of the finals. Again, rules subject to peer pressure, if people are pissed about something I've said here SPEAK up.

Let's start the explanation and discussion on divisions:
24 players 4 divs of 6 players
Every team will play the others in their division once for the qualifier (currently scored 2 points for a win 1 point for a tie and 0 points for a loss). The top 2 teams from each division will move on to the Semis and a tie will be decided by total TDs. This means playing in US or International again with both new and old opponents. The top winners of Semis will have an international showdown for the dual-conference champion title! With this setup the total (games played) is
5 games if Lose qual, 9 games if lose semi, 10 games finals
This setup really cuts out the losers which might keep the end of the tournament active enough?

THIS LOSERS BRACKET INFO IS OLD
I have kept it short on purpose to keep interest up. If we want to lengthen the tournament and get a chance to come back (get your demands in before the end of qualifiers in a month), there will be a losers bracket (3rd and 4th place teams from qualifiers) which will add Quarters before Semis. Top of the losers bracket (wild card) and top 2 of Quarters (described as semis above) will move to the new Semi-finals. With this setup the total games played is
24 players 5 games if lose qual, 9 games lose quarters, 11 games semi, 12 games finals
I am worried people in the losers bracket might lose interest, but I do like the idea of playing your way back into the running.
