<b>WELCOME TO THE SWL FRINGE TOUR</b>

<i> There's a plethora of die hard SWL fans throughout the Old World who don't have the opportunity to support their favorite teams live at the stadiums. Sure Cabalvision brings the games into their homes, but seeing SWL live and in person is spectacular. While the SWL will rarely hold games outside the Southern Wastes, they are mindful of allowing the fans to get a taste of what it is like to see a game live. Therefore, the Southern Wastes Fringe Tour has been established.

For the first time regions and cities throughout the Old World are invited to bid for the right to host SWL Fringe Tournaments. If they win the right to host the tournament, they are allowed to decide on their own rules. Winners of these tournaments will be placed in the history books and rewarded handsomely for their efforts.</i>

Each tournament has its own rules that must be followed
The winner of each tournament will be crowned the champion and can claim the trophy in their profile.

<i>During the Chrismas break the SWL goes very quiet as the main league goes on hiatus. Meanwhile, SWL fans are screaming for some action while they enjoy their holidays. As such, the SWL holds an open tournament for any teams to join in on christmas carnage, with the best of the best going at it to reward the fans during their holidays. </i>

<i>The duke of Bordeleaux is a wealthy man with a love for the finesse element of blood bowl. As such he has been granted an event on the tour to take the SWL to Bordeleax, where finesse teams can battle it out for the honor of being blessed by a Grail Knight.</i>

Using the wealth he amassed in his time in the SWL, Gregor is bringing the Fringe Tour to his hometown, the famous Karak-Varn. The people here don't care too much for the score, they just want to see some good old fashion hurtin'.</i>

<i>The SWL has earned a rare invite into Athel Loren to play some blood bowl. However, the wood elves are only allowing "good" affiliated races and allies to participate to ensure there are no potential threats to the forest. Teams will battle it out to play for a trophy carved from a rare and magical tree.</i>

<i>Set in Naggaroth, The Malekith Medal is a prestigious tour stop for evil affiliated teams. Malekith refuses to acknowledge the "pansy" races as blood bowl threats and only wants to see the best teams participate. Each member of the winning team will receive a unique Medal depicting the Dark Elf Lord.</i>

<b><u>The Ulthuan Open</u></b>

<i>The High Elves love the SWL, but hate the fact they have to conform to the league’s rules. In Ulthuan, games are played with teams that consist of 7 players, to create a more intense experience based around a few highly skilled athletes. As such, they have scheduled a tour stop which follows their unique ruleset.</i>

Teams must consist of only 7 Players (buy and fire other players).
All positional limits are halved, rounded up (as seen in bb7’s rosters link).

No Petty Cash at any time (clear it before being “ready to play”)
Players must be retired once they reach 4 MVP’s (They are ready for the big leagues)
Only rookie teams with 0 matches may apply, unless the team has only participated in previous Ulthuan Opens.

The belief is that the horned rat is a fan of bloodbowl and he deserves a tournament in his name, with any dead players seen as a sacrifice on his behalf. The horned rat is believed to be impatient, and therefore in order to please him the council of 13 have decided the matches must be quick and brutal</i>

Trial of blood 1 game and then

Teams must consist only of 16 zombies at team creation and the start of the tournament.
Each player is given 2 skills/stat increases after the first game. (must be skills they can obtain normally). Only 1 of each skill/stat increase per team.
If you kill a player, you may choose to swap it for one of your existing players.
No Igor Allowed!

PM harvestmouse regarding skills for your starting line up, transfers and raising the dead.

In the event that two teams are tied on points at the end of the competition, the winner will be decided by the team with the largest kill % (and then TD's scored, cas caused)
