<i>Many pro BB leagues exist throughout the old world and beyond. In the cutthroat world of BB, not all players start off with a Pro team. The majority of players play in the 7's League. BB7's teams tend to be highly disorganized! There are players with individual talent, but teamwork on the whole is somewhat lacking! To promote the interest of this sport, and an attempt to get more players involved, Cabalvision have hereby started a 7's league. In time, it is hoped a team can arise and become legendary, like the Lizardmen team from the southern islands of Fridgi! However, it is inevitable in this environment that a talented player will emerge, and scouts from big name teams like the Reavers, Gouged Eye, and Darkside Cowboys are watching the progress here. Don't be surprised if a player or two gets scouted for a better offer from a professional BB team!</i>
<div align="left">
<hr color="white">
<h3>Group Rules</h3>
<b>1) All BB7s teams must be NEW and in the [L]eague division. </b>
a. Exception: If your team has played one or two games, and both you and your opponent have followed all the BB7s group and team creation rules, then allowing them in is usually not a problem (don't overuse this tolerance, it's mainly granted when group staff is too busy to accept teams into the group!).
b. Teams from other league formats (even if cut down from 11 or more players) are NOT permitted.
<b>2) Teams may field a MAXIMUM of 7 players on the pitch per match.</b>.
a. Some rosters do have exceptions to this rule, see "team creation" section below.
b. Missing (MNG) players can't enter the pitch, so they may be replaced by journeymen or new players. If a positional is missing you may buy another one of the same kind and let him play the next match. After the match you can pick freely who to keep and who to fire.
c. If you manage to gain any extra player(s), then only seven players may be set up freely. All other players must be placed in the corners of your end zone and may not be used for duration of the drive. You may only hand off or pass the ball with an extra player if he accidentally catches a throw-in/kick, but without moving the player (i.e. you have to move one of your active players into range). You may only ever move extra players on your opponent's request. Opposing coaches may not prevent the player moving in this fashion by forcing TZs on him or block/blitz the extra player out of bounds. At the beginning of each drive you may choose which players you want to field. Halfling and Goblin teams may have one extra player on the roster (see "BB7s Team Rosters" below). Zombies raised by Necromantic and Undead teams also count as extra players and may be used as explained. Other examples are FUMBBL birthday zombies or stars that may be hired for special events.
d. Accidentally hired journeymen may not be fielded as active players under any circumstances. The TV they add to the team should be punishment enough to not repeat this mistake... (If you need journeymen to get to seven players but hired more than that, the JMs player numbers determine which of them you may use.)
e. You may play a match with a newly created team of 11 players to get rid of the four unwanted players in the post match sequence. Please follow the rules in the "Team Creation" section below!
<b>3) No team re-rolls may ever be bought.</b>
<i>This reflects the lack of teamwork within teams.</i>
a. However, you may use any re-rolls that you get from kickoff results, a Halfling Master Chef (halfling teams only) and the Leader skill!
b. You may also induce ONE team re-roll via "Extra Team Training" (see "Inducement limitations" below).
c. There are no restrictions on fan factor, apothecaries, assistant coaches or cheerleaders.
<b>4) Inducement limitations: No Star Players, no Wizard, no Halfling Master Chef, only one Extra Team Training.</b>
<i>The low standard of play means that no Star Player, Wizard or Master Chef worth his salt would ever want to be seen with "that lot of losers!". </i>
a. All other inducements may be taken after your liking (<a href="https://fumbbl.com/help:BB7sInducementList">a list of all inducements allowed</a>).
b. Halfling teams, as an exception, ARE allowed to hire a Halfling Master Chef.
<b>5) No Petty Cash.</b>
<i>In BB7s, treasury doesn't really mean money.</i>
a. Halfling teams ARE allowed to use Petty Cash to hire a Halfling Master Chef.
b. Goblin teams ARE allowed to use Petty Cash to buy Bribes.
<b>6) Players have to be retired as soon as they reach 4 MVP awards.</b>
<i>An MVP award means a headhunter has scouted the player and let him know. This boosts the player's ego and leads to harder training, probably helping him to improve his skills. If headhunters turn up a fourth time, they bring a contract with them... and no BB7s player ever rejects an offer from the professional leagues!</i>
a. The retirement has to be processed in the post match sequence after the match your player earned his fourth MVP.
b. If you accidentally get your team "ready to play" without firing a player with 4 MVP awards, please <a href="https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=messages&op=new&to=Rabe,%20captainmalkor,%20ahalfling,%20FreeRange,%20bghandras,%20blader4411&subject=BB7s: Accidentally kept scouted player&message=Dear BB7s staff, I accidentally clicked 'ready to play' even though I should have retired a player on this team:">contact the BB7s staff</a>. Make SURE you don't play the team without staff approval!
c. MVP awards earned before the FUMBBL transition to CRP may be ignored by players on grandfathered teams. These players may therefore have more than 3 MVP awards on their stats. Check out the "Grandfathered LRB 4 Teams" section below.
d. If you suspect someone of misusing the system, please <a href="https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=messages&op=new&to=Rabe,%20Asgovic&subject=BB7s: Possible MVP system abuse&message=Dear BB7s staff, I'm not sure if keeping the following player is legal since he has earned more than 3 MVP awards:">contact the BB7s staff</a>!
<b>7) Concessions are strictly forbidden.</b>
a. This is a measure of keeping the winning team from "earning" an extra MVP that might actually hurt it. You may still give up and try to save your players, but a concession is not the way to go!
b. Exception: A newly created team may concede in its first turn in a match against a dummy team. This way it enters post match sequence and can quickly get rid of the four unwanted players (see also "Team Creation" section below).
c. If you witness or receive a concession, please <a href="https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=messages&op=new&to=Rabe,%20Asgovic&subject=BB7s: Illegal concession&message=Dear BB7s staff, the following match has been illegally ended with a concession:">contact the BB7s staff</a>!
<b>8) Violating any of the above rules may result in a permanent ban (of teams and/or coaches) from the league</b>.
<b>9) This is a fun easygoing league, if you lack social skills, then maybe this isn’t the league for you </b>.<img src=http://fumbbl.com/modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif>

<h3>Team Creation</h3>
<b>1. Create a new team in the "League" division.</b>
a. Teams have to be new to be accepted into BB7s (see "Group Rules" section above).
b. All 24 races are available. Some tournaments might have restrictions on teams per race, but in open play it doesn't matter.
<b>2. Buy seven players that will form you future team. The number of positionals and big guys is restricted.</b>
a. All positional limits are halved, rounded up (so all Chaos Pact renegades and the goblins' secret weapons are allowed). Base players (players with a limit of 0-12 or 0-16) are not considered positionals.
b. Big Guys are not allowed. All players starting with a strength of 5+ and a negatrait other than Decay (Bone Head, Really Stupid, Wild Animal, Take Roots) are considered Big Guys.
c. Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Chaos Pact and Underworld teams are allowed all or some of their Big Guys. See "BB7s Team Rosters" section below.
d. Make sure the seven active team members follow the FUMBBL rules on player names. These rules are shown to you each time you submit a new team for approval.
<b>3. Buy <u>exactly</u> four more base players named in a completely different way than the rest of the team. Those guys may not be used actively and are determined to be retired after the first match.</b>
<i>Since teams start in "ready to play" mode after creation, they cannot get down to seven players before the first match.</i>
a. Don't use any other but base players! Base players are players with a limit of 0-12 or 0-16.
b. The four chosen players have to be retired after the first match, even if one of your seven active team members dies/gets beaten into retirement or one of the four spare guys earns the MVP award!
c. Names should be chosen in a way that staff members can easily tell the spare guys apart from the rest of the team. If it's not possible, acceptance into the group may be delayed or denied (getting rid of them before applying the team of course prevents this from happening, too).
<b>4. Buy fan factor and staff after your liking.</b>
a. Staff: Assistant Coaches, Cheerleaders, Apothecary.
b. Team re-rolls are not allowed (see "Group Rules" section above).
<b>5. Submit your team for approval.</b>
<b>6. Put the BB7s logo into your team's biography.</b>
a. Use the following code, if you like:
<a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=3433"><img src="https://fumbbl.com/i/346633"></a>
<b>7. Apply your team to the <a href="https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=3433&p=members">BB7s main group</a>.</b>
<b>8. Play a first match. This can be a regular (friendly) match or a concession against a dummy team.</b>
a. If you play a regular match, make sure you don't grant your opponent the advantage of inducement money for the spare guys. We recommend you and your opponent either agree on playing without inducements or subtract the spare guys' TV from the team TV.
b. If you play a regular match, your designated spare guys have to be placed at both ends of your end zone and may not take any action other than getting rid of an accidentally caught ball and moving out of the way on your opponent's request (see rules on extra players in the "Group Rules" section above).
c. If you play against a dummy team, make sure it's a legal one: The name has to be [coachname's Dummy 7s Team] (including the brackets) and it must follow the rules stated in the "Dummy Teams" section below. In case of doubts, please <a href="https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=messages&op=new&to=Rabe,%20captainmalkor,%20ahalfling,%20FreeRange,%20bghandras,%20blader4411&subject=BB7s: Doubtful dummy team&message=Dear BB7s staff, the following dummy team seems weird:">contact the BB7s staff</a>.
d. If you play against a dummy team, make sure neither you nor your opponent does take any action besides you ending the game by conceding (this is an exception to the "Concessions are strictly forbidden" rule from the "Group Rule" section above and is only allowed in a team's first match and against a dummy team). Note: A coach can concede in his first turn even before setting up his players!
e. You don't necessarily have to wait for approval to get started with your first match, but making approval easier by applying a team with zero game is a courtesy towards the staff (since group managers don't have to check if past games were all legal).
<b>9. Retire your designated spare guys.</b>
<b>10. Make sure you don't accidentally hire journeymen.</b>
a. Illegally hired journeymen have to be treated like the spare guys on a newly created team, but DO contribute their to your team's TV. See also "Group Rules" section above.
b. Illegally hired journeymen do NOT allow you to play (concede) against a dummy team to enter post match sequence again.
<b>11. A team that breaks one or more of the rules above may not be accepted into/stay in the BB7s group!</b>

<h3>Bounties</h3>

...but you should definitely keep track of players you killed or forced into retirement if they had earned SPP before the transition to CRP...

<h3>Dummy Teams</h3>
1) Any BB7s coach may create one dummy team to help others cutting their freshly created teams down to the legal number of players. Since concessions are usually forbidden in BB7s (rule no. 7 in the "Group Rules" section above), please make sure you understand what a dummy team is allowed to do and how it has to be done!
2) All rules from the "Group Rules" and "Team Creation" sections apply except for the following:
3) Dummy teams have to be named [coachname's Dummy 7s Team], including the brackets (<a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=669361">example</a>).
4) Dummy teams may play no games but "dummy games" as outlined in the "Team Creation" section, step 8 (the opposing coach has to concede on his first turn). The result always has to be a win by concession with no actions taken by both teams.
5) Players on dummy teams never get drafted.
6) Dummy teams have to apply to main group.
7) Dummy teams should only be accepted by the staff members in charge (currently: <a href="http://fumbbl.com/~Rabe">Rabe</a> + ?).
<hr color="white">
<h3>Grandfathering</h3>
If and as long as you have at least one player on your team who has earned SPP before the [L]eague division's migration to CRP, that team may enter and stay in the
<b><a href="https://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=7590">BB7s Grandfathers Group</a></b>.
If your team features any player with more than 3 MVP awards (and therefore subject to the drafting rules) or two Norse Berserkers or more than four Ogres and you don't want to retire them immediately, you <u>must</u> join and stay with the group to get them accepted (and thereby a legal BB7s team) into the main group.
The benefit: All MVP awards earned before the [L]eague division's migration to CRP do not count towards the drafting rules as long as a team is member of this group.
The drawback: Grandfathered teams will have their own division that they have to attend to in all tournaments and leagues, so they will not meet any other teams but grandfathered ones in competitive play. However, they are allowed to play friendly matches against whoever you like!
A team is free to leave the group and join regular tournament divisions as soon as it's in line with the rules stated in the "Group Rules" and "Team Creation" sections above.
