| | Player | Team | By the numbers |
---|
| | Kate Lam | Calgary Vanquishers | 5 CAS - These were no goblins that Kate took down. Instead she killed super stars Buck and Milt, and retired Alex, another beastman. In addition, she badly hurt two chaos warriors and overall, dominated the pitch. |
| | Kyil Joomies | Toronto WAARGHonauts | 3 CAS - Joomies gave Toronto the numbers advantage and did all that could be asked of him to secure the win. |
| | Jim Croode | Rottawa Rough Risers | 3 CAS - Jim went on an ugly rampage and killed 3 players; two blitzers, one a rookie, the other an emerging star. The final was the troll, who managed to regenerate. He was "on" this match, ...as was all of Ottawa really. (Co-winner) |
| | Quaaerl | Hope Hop-A-Longs | 1 TD, 1 CAS - A maimed blitzer (-ma) he rose to the occasion when needed and was a thorn in Winnipeg's side all game, propelling them to a 2-0 victory. (Co-winner) |
| | Richard "Long" Richards | Yellowknife Perpetrators | 2 TDs, 1 CAS - A dominating all around performance in Yellowknife's 3-2 victory. |
| | Z'Zor | North York Bears | 1 TD - Z'zor made the play of the game to take control for North York. With no RRs, the AG 4 wrestle linerat dodged through the Dark Elf defence and GFI'ed twice to score. |
| | Gregory Birdle | Hamilton Tomb Cats | 1 TD, 1 CAS - Hamilton's do it all skeleton was at it again with agile hands to take the hand off for the first half score, adding another punishing hit for good measure. |
| | Mortimer "The Bold" James | Yellowknife Perpetrators | 1 Cmp, 2 TD, 1 CAS - Mortimer "The Bold" James. The two-headed thrower (geez it is creepy when interviewing him) had a career day picking up the slack for Gary in a dynamic 3-2 win. |
| | Azar | BC Felions | 3 CAS - Hamilton coach Lorebass was overheard cursing about getting so close, but falling short. It was BC legend Azar that led the charge as her ST 4 was invaluable against the tomb guardians. |
| | Hargin Fleetfoot | Halifax Hunters | 2 TDs - A dominating dwarf victory - Fleetfoot is a truly an excellent budding star (+ST) that could lead the Dwarves to the playoffs! (footnote: He died 2 games later.) (Co-winner) |
| | Bertha B. Bigg | Yellowknife Perpetrators | 2 CAS - This was Bertha's coming out party. The Warpstone Troll has played 18 games...yet this was the first time she picked up 2 CAS. She also was on the field for the entire game - providing a critical roadblock against the tomb guardians. (Co-winner) |
| | John Duhhhh | Brandon Cheat Kings | 1 TD, 1 CAS - Secured the draw with a TD and provided lots of laughs for the spectators. The goblin classic! Yellowknife looked to be in control, scoring after a full half stall. Brandon got some good hits and took charge in the second half, but when the ballcarrier was hit along the sideline and the ball went out of bounds - it looked like Yellowknife would hold on for the win. But wait! The ball...it is bouncing...no goblins are nearby...but STOMP STOMP, here come John Duhhhh, he snatches the ball out of the air - promptly trying to eat it as goblins scurry around between his legs. The crowd goes wild and goblins are yammering about heading to the endzone. John just looks around until Kryten has his minions hold up a picture of a cute (your mileage may vary) troll maiden above the endzone. John Duhhhh turns on the jets (again...not sure this analogy quite fits here)...and two turns later lumbers into the endzone to secure the draw as time expires! |
| | Mugdul Mugger | High Level Raiders | 2 CAS - The upstart High Level blitzer took out two Cheater players to help them secure their first CFFL point. |
| | Urul Bloodknife | High Level Raiders | 2 TDs - Urul scored both touchdowns for the team, one in a spectacular fashion, defying all odds, and giving the Raiders their first CFFL victory. |
| | Uan | Hope Hop-A-Longs | 2 TD, 1 CP - He scored two key touchdowns and delivered an important pass for the last one to win the match. (Co-winner) |
| | Creeping Cory | Riverdale Greyskins | 2 CAS - The skeleton permanently took out two of the most dangerous Brandon players, one in a spectacular three dice uphill block. (Co-winner) |
| | Grosp Gravestalker | Riverdale Greyskins | 2 CP, 2 TD - for guiding an incredible comeback for the undead, scoring twice and also passing for 2 more TDs. |
| | Where's the Puck? | Brandon Cheat Kings | 2 TDs - for scoring twice against dwarves and heck, managing to stay on the field for 16 turns as well, is an accomplishment with that much tackle out there! |
| | Kinberly | BC Felions | 2 TDs, 1 INT - Leading the charge, picking off the hapless vampires and scoring twice - the second time she was heard taunting the Calgary sidelines... |
| | Grosp Gravestalker | Riverdale Greyskins | 2 TDs - For really impressing with the Riverdale last season run...their success in the playoffs is definitely going to ride on his shoulders. (Co-winner) |
| | Sadness | Calgary Vanquishers | 5 Fouls for 3 CAS - Removed the 3 best players on Hope's team and then also served himself up as a tasty snack after doing all the hard work. (Co-winner) |
| | Mr. Stick | Brandon Cheat Kings | For fouling Jim Croode, unassisted, and breaking his neck, with no regeneration. After 93 games, it was the first time he ever missed a game for Rottawa. (Co-winner) |
