Family (extended possible) teams for general League play. Managed by Father Artaxerxes.
Head of the Family (HOTF) Challenge Championship
The Family Romp needs a Head of the Family - The current Champion of the Family Romp Group.
The HOTF is a perennial title that is passed on to new teams when the new team (the Challenger) defeats the HOTF in a game held in accordance with the following challenge rules:
1 - To qualify as a challenger, the preceding 2 (or more) games must all be wins and be against (at least) 2 different coaches. The qualifying games must not be against Halfling, Goblin or Ogre teams.
2 - The challenger must win the game to become the new HOTF. A draw or loss result by the challenger and the HOTF remains. (To become HOTF therefore requires 3 wins in a row.)
3 - For the challenge match (Challenger vs HOTF), the inducements cannot be star players or wizards (Only Halflings can hire Master Chefs).
4 - After each defense of the title, the HOTF may choose to play one recovery game before facing the next challenge.
5 - Challengers are to be played by the HOTF in the order which they announce to the HOTF their eligibility to challenge.
6 - Unlimited games may be played by the HOTF while there is no challenger.
7 - Match Reports are expected from both coaches involved in a HOTF challenge match. The challenger should include brief comment on the games played to qualify for the challenge.
8 - HOTF will be presented with a Group Score of 100 and first place listing on the Group Page.
9 - Eligible Challengers will be given a Group Score of 90
10 - Please keep poor old Arta up-to-date on who eligible challengers are ;-)
