Welcome to The Fen, home stadium to the famous Skaven Blood Bowl team "The Scarborian Sewer Skulkers".

The Fen is situated in the rainy moor town of Scarborough.

Although Scarborough is quite a large town Blood Bowl is somewhat marginalized here, relegated to a private, marshy lot on the outskirts of town.

Just looking around, you'll see how The Fen got its name. It is little more then a gloomy, smelly, dank mudpit that could just as readily be used as a pig pen (and often is during the off season), as for Blood Bowl!

When you play there you'll notice that weathered wooden planks ring the pitch and also define its shape (which changes from year to year). Believe it or not, these planks are less there to prevent the players from escaping then they are to keep the crowd from joining in! You know us Northeners, and Scarborough has a reputation for being a little... rough around the edges!

The mud in the stadium is always wet with blood and rain, and it's not suprising to find rocks and bones poking up from the packed earth below the layer of dredge. In fact its pretty much just a good place for people to kill each other whilst others stand and watch!

Scarborough is also the location of the regional magistrates. Sentences for minor crimes are often waived if the criminal is willing to sign up to a local Blood Bowl team for a couple of games or more. This often means many of the local Journeymen (and the teams themselves) are usually crooks and/or thugs of some description.

The Fen is owned by Narlgoth, a Skaven Warlord and the Manager of several Skaven and Goblin teams that play in and around the Scarborough area.
