“The dice were against joeyridge at the critical moments, though at other times his dice were just superb (only when it didn't matter though). 14 blocks with a claw tackler and I get one casualty, I guess it could be called good fortune (even if it doesn't feel like it). Have to say that I was surprised the zons challenged me, as I felt my team was stronger - expecting a bloodbath as well... which didn't happen but still.

First drive was pretty uneventful, slowly rolling the cage down and scoring in T6. The zons had a slight chance of counterscoring when the ball landed right in the hands of their thrower, but they didn't get through the LOS to get in scoring range. Other than the thrown rock (our fans are more violent than the team :)), nothing really happened.

Second half, an unfortunate dodge turned the initiative as I tried to put as many TZs as I could on everybody while threatening the thrower with a player or two. They managed to evade us for some turns, then had to pass the ball which I intercepted. 2-0 followed soon after. The fourth drive started with yet another thrown rock, which took out another catcher. With half of their team staying in the KO box, there was an opportunity to put good pressure on the ball and maybe score, but it wasn't to be.
