“The FUMBBL SMACK Legend IX Finals!

The Horde was up against the Heroes From the Dark, a darkelf team that had shown it self worthy of a final by winning over a darkelf team in the first game, and then proceeding to win over an tough orc team. They were not to be underestimated!

The handicap rolls were:

*Morleys Reveng (affecting 3 players, all three linemen)
*Bribe the Ref2

The DE won the kickoff and proceeded to make a rather fast TD, in turn 3 a Witch caught the ball in a tacklezone and dodged through 1 tacklezone to scoore the 1-0 TD. Elfbowl was the game folks.

The orcs were then lining up for a drive, coach dadoz gave them one order! Dont screw this up you maggots! The orcs knew what that ment, the elfs were going to find them selfs in a world of pain!

And sure enough the casualty rolls and the KO rolls started to come, but still, the elfs managed to steal the ball, and with a lucky scatter from the crowd they pulled of the TD 2-0. Things werent looking to good at that time.

But the orcs didnt give up, they knew they needed a td, and with fear in their eyes they all ran forward. And sure enough they managed to get the ball to a blitzer, who could take the one gfi and scoore the 2-1 td.

Second half started as the first ended, the orcs were attacking, and they did it slowly and painfully. Darkelfs were beein sent of the pitch faster than ermm, well very fast anyway.

Not giving the elfs much chance of defending the 2-2 TD that came in the last turn of the orc attack. This meant overtime. Some of the poor DE saw what the orcs were up too, and stayed put in the KO bench, making coach vendul furious hehe. And simplifying the game for the orcs no doubt.

The Horde won the kickoff in OT and started to attack, they did it the same way as in the first two halfs, slowly and painfully. Elfs were once again beein shippied of the pitch faster than erm, still very fast =).

And then it happend, a fireball from the sky knocked over a few orcs, and even though the orcs knew it was to come sooner or later they couldn't stop it. A few dicerolls later, the elfs were back ontop, leading 3-2.

But onceagain the orcs managed to come back, and they hurried, thinking they could maybe get yet another chance to take the lead (trying to avoid the cointoss). But after equilizing, the elfs defence (although only three elfs strong) held out. And the game went to cointoss.

The orcs lucked out and rolled them selfs a victory.

Hopefully we will be able to give coach vendul a rematch some day, and maybe he wont have to loose on a cointoss ;). He fought breavly and did not deserve too loose the game like that. But the dices can be cruel..
