“Dispite both teams having been in the league for a while this was the first time they met. After a bloody draw in their last game the Stalkers went into the match with a much more foully attitude.
However the game did not start well with the Lissie Saurus' taking control of the centre of the pitch whilst the lissie skinks avoided any werewolf blitzes against them (much to the frustation of the lycanthropes).
Dispite a missed pass, the lizardmen were able to recover to score the opening touchdown.
A decent cage drive by the Stalkers allowed an equaliser before half-time to make it 1-1 at the break.
In the second half the Stalkers managed to score early on to take the lead. More importantly the werewolf blitzes started to make an impact as skinks found their way into the dugout. All hope of a Lissie equaliser vanished in a horrendous turn where 3 skink casualties were made, leaving the score at 2-1 at the end.

A close game, with some lucky casualty rolls later on helping to secure the win. After the bashing against me last game I think I may be fouling a bit more in future :)
