This was a dice rape. Handicaps were not great for my opponent, but we both had a Str 4 player fail a niggle.

I started off with 31% luck after two turns and was soon down 0-1. About 5 turns in the luck was still 40ish to 70.

The crap rolls just went on and on and on. After losing the ball thanks to a stack of 1s, I rolled more 1s to drop a pass on my drive. My opponent almost had me in real bother when he blitzed my backfield thrower but he rolled a pair of 1s on a GFI. I then snake eyes my pass to put me under pressure again. Fun fun fun not.

It was hard work as my opponent kept getting pows on me to knock my players over whilst I tried to delay scoring as long as I could. In the end I just managed a score to even the scores before half time.

Second half, my opponent made a somewhat lucky score. First of all, he avoided Diving Tackle with his receiver and made 2 GFI to reach the end zone. Then he made 2 GFI and a 3+ Long Bomb and avoiding my 6+ intercept. Certainly a desperation low percentage play but it paid off.

I made an easy score then my opponent replied again with a 3+ Catch and 2+ Leap to take the lead.

Then I got dice raped bad.

With my opponent sending most of his team to his right wing, the left field was completely open and I could send the ball there with 3 players and 2 screening players.

What do I roll to pass? Snake-eyes.

My opponent gets it back, I manage to steal it and I mange to get it back and deep.

My opponent then makes 3 GFI and a one dice Pow to knock the ball free again.

My last chance to draw even is a 3+ pick up and a 4+ Dodge (with Dodge RR) and I fail the pick up.

I was robbed that game. I had much more of the bad luck than my opponent and it cost me the game. Was tough going with all the 1s I rolled and I got a miserable total of 1 pass with my 3 newest players thanks to all the 1s to pass or catch. Was quite pathetic really.

However, post game, I got +1 Str on 15 SPP Lino so it was all worth it in the end. The loss of FF was sad but 40 FF is impossible to keep without an optimal win and then a roll of 3+. On a 2 TD no cas loss, I was going to lose FF unless I rolled 5+ heh. ”
