He was quite an asset, but in the current era of salary caps and team efficiency, his contract had become a bit too much for the team to handle.

He never complained about being placed on the line in recent games and he nodded his head in understanding when the coach waved off the apothecary who was about to head out and treat poor Hegel after his back was crushed by a mighty Saurus block.

With a standing ovation at the end of the game, the crowd ushered him off with one last MVP.
