“It was close toward the end, my opponent had scored two quick TD's in the first half. With his rampaging tree, I was forced to play it safe and stay away. In the second half, things started to turn around in my favor, I had taken out some really powerful Wood Elves, his 2 4 strengthers were badly hurt. Once his tree Took Root, I was able to pounce and score my first TD. With 2 turns left, and 6 guys left for my opponent. I was looking to tie and hoping for a blitz; but again I was hit hard with the second Pitch Invasion of the game. I was not able to take advantage of the number of players he had, he threw the ball into the empty back field I had left. All in all, it was a great match, though I feel sorry for my worthy opponent. I had 7 Casualties against him. 2 Kills (1 apothed), a Seriously injured (a niggler) and 4 Badly hurt.”
