#10 Sstikha – Smashed Knee (NI)
#10 Sstikha – Broken Ribs (MNG)
Turns out the Sarawaks make do quite nicely with only three Sauri onboard, at least this far. Grantedly, the general level of expertise thus far in this division is about matching their own, more or less. The Sarawaks are rookies, their coach is a rookie, and so are the teams they play. Still, this match against team OLWE was anticipated with a certain anxiety. Their dragon warrior being injured, the High Elves nonetheless mustered a team of eleven line-elves and had the overall bashing advantage in numbers until the very last down of the match.

As feared, the Elves won the toss and put up quite an intimidating wall of pain, keeping one lone receiver deep with the ten others going to work on the Saurus trio on the line of scrimmage. The team set up a very convincing two-turn passing offense, However, Hampus the receiver, after rushing forward with the ball, just wasn't trained well enough for the passing part. Instead, on pure harsh misfortune he fumbled the ball, causing a turnover. The Sarawaks seized the opportunity to make an early recovery touchdown, but Sslither was a bit too optimistic in thinking he could evade two elves and pick up the ball at the same time. The elves were once again in control of the game up until the deciding pass to the touchdown - Justus and Trygve had been marked with pestering skinks and were unable to catch the ball. Then, somewhat unexpectedly the skinks neglected to try and push the ball free, instead attempting another pickup in the death zone of OLWE player Trygve.

This would probably have caused a touchdown against for the Sarawaks, were it not for one brave skink. Sstikha met a block from Justus with all he had, pulling him down in the fall. Unfortunately, the Elf fell on top on the skink, and the crack of bone could be heard even to the dugouts, above the clamor. There was nothing the skink shaman could do about the damage, Sstikha had to be carried off, and is unlikely to recover fully. After the game, he has been assigned the task of first assistant coach, with special responsibility for blocking practice.

The rest shall be briefly told; the Sarawaks struggled to keep their Sauri on two legs distracting Elves while the skinks ran around, screening the ball and scoring. A little luck in that the Elves were not much better at blocking than the cold-bloods helped the Sarawaks not only to score two more recovery touchdowns, but also to keep the ball out from their endzone throughout the match. On this note, Saurus Ssuarh went on record claiming that while Enar's sprained groin and the broken neck of Justus were accidents, he really did want to give Hampus a good licking.

Sotek's Sarawaks would like to thank team OLWE for being good sports.
