“An easy win for the Pilots, who didn't score a single touchdown, winning via cowardly concession.
Admittedly, not a good start for the Packrats, who got blitzed on the opening turn, allowing the Pilots to set up a Wild Animal trap. That one was escaped but another was set next turn, causing a quick turn change. With the Pilots started forming a cage, the enraged packrats decided to try for some revenge knockdowns instead of playing the ball, to little effect.
As the cage got within scoring range, the Packrats coach hurled obscenities at the Pilots, asking them not to stall, despite no sign yet that this would be the case. Seeing the level of sportsmanship at work, the Pilots did indeed stall, threw lots of blocks, knocked incompetently placed players out of bounds, and fouled for good measure. The rats summarily left silently with their scrawny tails between their legs.”
