Well the Bulldogs fumbled their way through their first game of Bloodbowl. Stumbling to a dour 1-0 loss to an Elven team this reporter thought was only a fairy tale. Both Ghouls "Baa Baa" and "Turvey" struggled with the new game, failing to pick up the ball (Despite the money spent on Training) on numerous occassions while adding insult to injury by... you guessed it Injuring themselves. Steve Mortimer did so by tripping over face first trying to lend an assist for a first half equaliser. Leaving Terry Lamb vulnerable to a block from 'Lancelot' who subsequently fractured Terry's arm putting him in doubt for the next game. The shining light in the Bulldogs performance was the big fella Peter Tunks killing 'Girflet' only to see him revived by the team apothecary, Tunksey is so confident of his skills now he reckons he's mastered blocking. This game has turned away a few of the Dogs fans.. most likely the problem lebanese element who are just looking for a fight, and didnt like the look of some of the neutral fans such as orcs. Hopefully they might come back with their cousins and try their luck next game. Also on the positive was the match winnings which should be enough to purchase some armour and a helmet for Andrew "Bobcat" Ryan to take the field. The team is still developing slowly. When they played league it took them 4 seasons to win a title, lets hope they can emulate that in the Cut Throat League.
