------------------
Handicaps were not bad for my oppponet with Greatest after It Wasn't Me taking out Valdrek my uber Thrower-Blitzer. Smelling Salts were also handy and Duh Where Am I? and one other cap.
Anyways, full credit to my opponent who played a top game and only made one mistake (didn't see my second pass blocker late in the game). However, once again, luck was a huge factor. A blitz to start the game gave my opponent an effective lead of 1-2 TD as instead of going into half time 2-1. 2-2 or 1-1, it was 1-2 to his advantage and then I kicked in the second half.
I had some shocking luck in the first half, including snake-eyes to pass the ball on my drive, and later snake-eyes on Bonehead to score a TD.
I had some luck later when I managed an intercept to recover a ball that I lost (which I did on a number of occasions despite my opponent's lack of tackle).
It was almost impossible to stop my opponent scoring with his AG5 Strong Arm Accurate Safe Throw passer tossing 2+ long bombs to players who avoided Diving Tackle repeatedly.
To top it off, both injuries suffered by the Falcons were serious injuries.
Ankkh is a great coach, but for some reason, whenever we play he also seems to also have all the luck in the world and I have the bad luck (apart from some deaths suffered by Ankkh in some previous matches heh). A lethal combination of great coaching and great. All I could do was hope for some SPP. Unfortunately the Falcons also lost their 3rd FF in as many matches. Hopefully they will have some luck again soon.”
