Fortunately, my team just cooled out, and cobbled together some last minute heroics to tie the game. All I had to survive was the Troll's last minute lobbing the gobbo in to the endzone.

As the beastmen prepared their butterfly nets, Bogey hit on an inspired idea, while the two teams were setting up, he struck up a conversation with the opposing troll about how hungry he was, and how dinner was still a long way off. His ploy worked.

As soon as had the hapless gobbo climbed into the troll's hand, the big brute popped the little guy into his mouth, completely forgeting the game. The plucky little guy managed to squirm free, a little chewed around the edges, but unharmed. The game, however, had been lost.”
