“Not only has Redhammer been shaven clean after last game but now he has had to shave his skull. The path to the slayer is already sign posted.
In no way to discredit the performance of the Lizards but once again the Dwarves failed to impress.
After a good start and a decent position well in the Lizards' half another farcical call from the bench "Pass!". The action failed, partially due to glaring sun. Amazingly the Dwarves got the ball back and had another chance to pass into the endzone. But once again Borgo Bonenose, the usually amazing agile Dwarven Blitzer, failed to make the pass - again he did not even manage to get ball towards the endzone.
When the Lizards recovered the 2nd fumble - the setup nicely and Scarri Whitehate's stupid blitz (that saw him get knocked out against a mini lizard) opened the way for the Lizards lead (especially when Alfginnar also got himself ko'ed by falling over his own feet).
Early in the 2nd half the stalwart thick heads managed to stop a lizard advance but when they did not secure the ball they were looking at sure defeat, again the runners did not do as expected.
A nice and simple two turn play gave the little beardies their only score. When the lizzies failed to pick up the ball in turn 5 a glimmer of hope returned to Dwarven eyes but to no avail.
Dimrond was apprantely angry with Wundari and gave him deadly headbut to start turn 7. A third failed pass in turn 7 meant that any hope to score was eliminated for Dwarves, and the coach was only asking for tiny short toss this time so not really to blame.
All in all a another terrible game, will these Dwarves ever win again. The loosing streak is extended to 5 games - last win was against the Night-Watch on the 5th of November 2005.”
