#11 Elvin Bethea – Smashed Knee (NI)
#8 Drew Hill – Smashed Hip (-MA)
#9 Bruce Matthews – Dead (RIP)
In a tightly contested game, the Oakland Raiders narrowly edged the Tennesse Titans 14-12.

The Titans kicked off to start the game and Oakland began their march down the field.

The Titans were able to knock the ball loose and a fight over the ball ensued. During this time, Several players on each team were knocked out and Eddie George of the Titans was carted off the field badly hurt after an ill advised block.

Oaklan had problems picking up the ball, which gave the Titans an oppurtunity to get it and pass down the field to a waithing Mike Rozier, who was able to score on turn 8 of the 1st half, making the score 1-0 at halftime.

Bruce Matthews was killed sometime on this drive.

With the BH and Death on the Titans, the Titans were a bit undermaned for the 2nd half, though there were 2 KO's on the raider bench.

Oakland kicked the ball off to the Titans to start the 2nd half. The kick sailed out of the endzone and was awared to Drew Hill on the LOS. The undermaned Titan offense made a valiant attempt to move the ball down field, but Hill plasterd by one of the Raiders, breaking a leg (or something) and will miss the next game healing his injuries (-1ma).

Now the seriously overmanned Titans were hard pressed to stop the Raiders in any way. Yet, the Raiders continued to display a reluctance to pick the ball up. This lead to an amazing play by Lorenzo White. He was able to rush in, pick the ball up in a tackle zone then dodge away towards the goalline. The Raiders were out of position to take advantage of this and the touchdown was made after the Raiders failed to knock down Curly Culp on a 1db with a RR.

There were now 4 turns left for the Raiders to score 2 times. The chances were good, as the Titans were down to 6 players on the Pitch.

The Titans lined up 3 on the LOS and 3 deep. The kick was deep. The Raiders dominated the los, knocking Elvin Bethea out of the game with a bad Knee (Niggling injury) and even getting a 3db against Curly Culp which knocked him out.

The 4 remaining Titans avoided the opposition and even formed a 'J' on the pitch as Jerry Rice ran almost the length of the pitch to score on Turn 8.

Final was 2TDs-1TD in favor of the Titans. But the Raiders, true to form, inflicted much pain on the Titans, scoring 1BH, 2SI, and 1 death. The Titans will be hard pressed to win their next game versus the Colts.
