“Sit back and let me tell you a tell about two halves.

The 1st half belonged to the Boilers.
The undermaned, but highly skilled Trad players were quickly wittled down to just 6 on the pitch, with one dead and 2 BH. The boilers were able to easily score 2 TD's in the half and the elves could not seem to make very many rolls at all.

The 2nd half, the elves 1st two blocks were BH's. And they scored an easy 2-turn TD to start off. Then a Pitch invasion knocked down 6 of the Boilers (one BH was apoth'd). With 4 players, that could move, the Boilers tried to protect the ball. But the Elves continued their imitation of a Bashing team and proceeded to take down 2 more Boilers to a BH and a SI on the way to another easy TD.

Now, things were desparate for the Boilers, as they could only field 7 players for the next KO. Soon, this number was down to 6--the same as the Elves. With the very experienced elves now equal in number to the relatively untrained Humans, the outcome was pretty much sealed. True to form, the Evles scored the winning TD on the last turn of the game.

Congrats to Roos, as I know he was pretty close to conceeding after the 1st half and only able to field 6 players to my 11.

All in all it was a very fun game against a good coach.”
