“It was a tough match with the pouring rain hindering all possible attempts to pick up the ball. With both teams only 2 rerolls, it was hard to decide when to use them properly.
In the first half, his skinks were able to score within the beginning turns of the first half, leaving my undead in his wake. After his first kick off, I was able to mount a counter attack, I had enough time to bring the ball to the other end, but he kept a strong blitzer in the back to prevent any attempts to the endzone. I tried a new tactic since I had a handicap of Bribe the ref and a dirty player; take out his Saurus. With turn 7 approaching in the first half, I made an attempt to score. He was able to stop me with 3 skinks onto my lone wolf. Thus leaving the score 1-0 in his favor. On the bright side, I killed a proned saurus with my Dirty Player; but he was ejected from the game.
Start of the second half, I receive the ball, I had plenty of time and he was dwindling in numbers. I tried to put that tactic in full effect to take out his big guys. I was able to cripple a few skinks and ko a saurus. Time was running out and I was able to score on turn 6, I was hoping for a better turn out; I wished I scored earlier so I could attempt to win before the game ended. But I feared his skink would be able to take it in past my front line.
Overtime, I thought I had a chance, his skink could not pick up the slippery ball for it had been raining the entire game. I moved both wolves in closer in hopes that he would fail again, however as it was destined, he was able to pick up the ball and scurry to the protection of his other lizards. I needed to block off an escape route his skinks would use, but was unable to get a push I desperately needed. A double skull ended my turn and gave him full advantage to make a break through my line, my wolves were not able to catch up to his little skinks and they ran it in with all my undead in the wake. A first defeat for my necromantic and heart breaking one.
It was a great game and a nail bitter, wish you luck in the finals!”

“This was one game I did not expect to win. "Time to die" had all the advantage, higher TS (untill I hired a few Skinks to help) and low enough TR to get a handicap. The handicap he got was "Bribe the Ref" which was good (so I thought). It could have been worse.
We recived the kick off and got down the field prity quick to score. We where able to hold off his advance enough to prevent any scoring in the first inning, but slowly loosing men the entire time. One sadly diing from him effectively using "Bribe the Ref" and "dirty player" :-P
In the second half the rain started to pour down and my Skinks effectively slowed his Wolfs from scoring, but at last it was just slowing them. Time to die was able to score, but leaving too little time and players for me to attempt one final td. And it heads to over time with no rerolls for eather side.
On the recieving end again we had enough guys revive from KO's to put a plan together. After throwing a few blocks we where set to make a run to the end zone, if only my skink could pick up the slippery wet ball.
Twice the ball was dropped putting his wolfs within striking range of my only 2 skinks protecting it and a td and win for there team.
One last try and they where able to pick up the ball and make a run for it. Two other skinks moved in to protect the ball carrior. He moves down one for the blitz and pulls off a double skull. With no rerolls my skink is free and clear for the run. A few well placed blocks and a good dodge sends him straight to the end zone, a TD and the WIN!!!
A very tough game and a great coach to play against. Good luck to you in your coming matches. ”
