“Like the Goblin Cheaters they are, The Crimson Crims were going strong in the first half. The Ball and Chain went right on target to push the Nurgling ballcarrier into the audience. A huge brawl broke out over the ball. The Rovers did get it going back in the right direction but the holdup proved fatal: they had to rush things, not their strong point, and failed a going. The ball got on the floor again and after some more fighting and fumbling the half ended 0-0.
In the second half, initially the Goblins weren't able to pick up the ball. But they eventually got it to Boing Boing with the Pogo Stick. The Rovers had one chance to stop him but they blew it. 1-0.
The Rovers now had ample time to go for another point against the now greatly undermanned Cheaters (half of them sent off, carried off or just plain knackered). Sadly they lost the ball again. They still attempted the impossible and went trough great lengths to push a man into scoring position. But the pickup was too hard.”
