Today it was an evil group of high elves baying for our blood! In their heavy armour and with the speed and agility, we knew it wasn't going to be easy, but we had 11 players to their 11, so we knew it was possible.

We started off poorly, upon receiving we threatened to throw the game away, however, a quick consolidation and we managed to get Kaxo-Fow free and he dashed across the line! Our defence was somewhat terrible, and the high elfs crossed with hardly a problem, which was disappointing, something we need to work on. Then we received, however we couldn't pick up nor hand off the ball, so our quick score was converted into a panic defence, and they very nearly stole the game from us there. 1-1 at half time.

2nd half and they were receiving, always a bad sign for us, however our fans saw us through with a fabulous pitch invasion! We just ran round them, our speed once more giving us the edge as we sacked the ball carrier and Hih stole away for the TD. 2-1!! We then had 6 turns to defend, with 7 skinks, and somehow, someway, we managed it! We were quickly reduced to 6 skinks, however rain had arrived and we managed to hold out just long enough that in the final turn the ball proved too slippery. A miraculous win! The only downside being when our useless apothecary once again failed Burunua, leaving him with a second niggle.
