“The match was a recovery game for both of us. We had both only 10 players at line-up. My 11th player has recovered after the game, thats why i got the higher team-rating. (even i got more rerolls =) )

The higher TR was really hard. Morleys revenge. I started with 8 players and suffering two players outside the field of their drunken heat. In early stage he KOed another two of my men and i was left with six players on the pitch. Hard to defend.

I missed to cover the whole field and he slipped through to a sure touchdown.

After that i started with 7 players, while he got his "full" pitch-load with 10 players. Some of his elves were hold at the line of scrimage, where my "guard"-blitzer was the only chance to get some change in these numbers. But her early attacked my ball-carrier, almost with success.

My ball-holding thrower could brake free, while i keep the elves deep in my half or downed at the line of scrimage. My men on this line got free to run into his half and my thrower passed a short pass to get the ball to my counter-td.

At the second half the weather turned bad. Receiving the ball in rain is always a bad idea. With 7 players on the pitch i started to reduce his number of active elves. While the line of scrimage turned into a boxing arena i started to get the ball over to a side, to run the next td.

I got the player-count even, as my thrower tried to GFI one field to get in relative secure position. He failed an hurt. He lost one point of his agility. At this point i knew, who would be my new co-trainer.

Direct after that the dark elves killed one of my linemen in a normal block. Damn. This should be a recovery match against a not so bashy opponent.

He secured the ball, but missed the pass, that would have been end in his second TD. Then we danced around the ball and he was only some GFIs away from scoring. But his low numbers of rerolls safed my day. He struggled.

The rain safed me a 1-1.

Thanks for the game. Sir_Edward_Heath was a sportsman and kind opponent. I was lucky with the winnings, he was lucky with the injuries.

Finally the game brought us both back to 11 players.
