“As their first outing was against a more seasoned team, there was a lot expected from the Cynwall Cyclones. The crowd were treated to a fine display of agility and footwork as the Cyclones dodged, side stepped and slipped their way to stealing the lead half way through the first half.
This quick snap woke the BC's up a little, or the sun warmed them up, as they became more animated, managing to stop a second TD just prior to half time.
The second half played more to the BC's style of play as the Cyclones were taken out of the game one by one.
However, it would appear that no amount persistance on the BC's side could drive that ball home.

So the game ended with six Elves in the dug out, nursing painful bones, and the BC'c scant yards from a touchdown, nursing a lose at the hands of the rookie Elfs.”
