#14 Mitzufuss – Dead (RIP)
Handicap: Illegal Drugs (+ ag on a Surehands beastman)

The Smiles opened up with a terrible gang foul lead on by Dreadclaw - followed up by a dissapointing shout as he noticed he only stunned the brute (he's talking about suing the company that sold him the boot as it has yet to produce any note worthy results). The Smiles managed to cut off the Ballers as Trog hypnoticed a Beast enabling the rest of the team to advance the ball without interference from the Ballers' players. As the Chaos team put all efforts into preventing thralls from sating the lust of Macavity who's bloodlust almost made him jump straight into the crowd. Fortunately he braced himself and crossed the End Zone - ball in hand.

The ballers lived up to their name and did a little ball play - they however neglected a proper spread of their players and soon found themselves surrounded. As Odi forgot to advance further down the field to try and get the ball in case it got loose he instead opted to make a block that brought both him and the opposing beast down.

The beast then got up and blitzed the ball free. Seeing that their time was running low the Ballers attempted a daring play in which they managed to dodge a beast free, the beast ran to the TD-zone as fast as he could - awaiting the pass. The newly agile beast (Handicap was Illegal Drugs) scooped up the ball, ran as close to the reciever as he could and passed over the heads of both Smiles and Ballers alike only to miss the pass.
The beast that was previously in scoring position now found itself in imminent danger of being knocked out of bounce. A thrall moved to cover the ball and Trog (despite having trained dodging on a regular basis) fell flat on his face in the attempt to reach the Beastman and help him embrace the crowd.

The Ballers following managed to knock down the Thrall covering the ball only for the relieved beast to fail the pick-up.

2nd half found the Chaos tied to the LoS for a few turns till Macavity caught a beast in his gaze enabling Trog to slam down the opposing ball carrier. Again the Chaos managed to recover it but their position was far too scattered and a dodge soon found the ball in the arms of the Troll, Pile, who was soon knocked down by the Smiles enabling Kirk to get the ball. BadMrMojo out up a valient effort for his team as he put himself up as fodder 3 turns in a row as the starving Vampires plunged their teeth into his neck - and he even survived!

Mitzufuss was not as fortunate as the apoth had been spent earlier on to save the life of Mikafreak - Pile the troll being the perpetrator both times as the foul act he had witnessed at the very start of the game infuriated him greatly!

Due to some pitiful blocking by the disheartened Ballers there was little they could do to stop the progress of the Smiles as they ran in their 2nd TD at the end of the game.

Many demand that Mitzufuss be immortalized for giving his life for the team, but coach RedFish demands that the funds that the team has accuired be used for extra training (Yeah, sorry Mitzufuss - we need more RRs =P)

*****

The Vamps suffered some early KOs out their Vamps - one not returning till the 2nd half and I believe this aided me greatly as the amount of OFFAB rolls were kept at a fine low. The ones that did fail rarely did too much damage as they either appeared late or were RR - and were they not my Thralls did the blocks or dodges that were then required of them.

Grouchy failed some key blocking at times and the combo of str. 4 and ag 4 often made it hard on the Ballers as the Vamps remained focused for the majority of the game.

Yea thats about accurate, well played Redfish, I was a bit cheered up from this dire game by the Troll, Pile, picking up the block skill.
