“Wow!
I didn't expect to win this.
I was just hoping for some needed cash and no serious injuries.
My handicaps were decent and helpful but not obnoxiously swaying.
A perfect defence allowed me to contain Grue on to his half of the icy field, and forced him to change his drive from right to left field.
Despite a casuality the heroes stood firm not allowing much gainway in my terriory. Manboy (the boy with all the powers of a man) saw a chink in their wall of guard and proceeded to strip Grue's minions of the ball, stunning him in the meanwhile. The block war continued with the heros still standing where it counted. Allowing Manboy thanks to some chainpushes and a critical 1d blitz to pick up the ball and run out of the Gungebearers grasp, losing them in swirling blizzard, and eventually scoring. The half finished with nohing of much interest except for both sides losing their weaker slayers.

The second half opened with the sun coming out, instantly melting the icy field (which is really interesting because the game was played underground). Facing overwhelming number the heroes set up and recieved the kick deep in their half. Seemingly looking to drive down the right side of the pitch, the Grudgebearers rush in to quickly plug the intended route. The Heroes reveal their secret plan when they all seem to spring (as spingly as dorfs can be) across field to the left side of the pitch hoping to leave a bunch of the Grungi's in the dust of their trick feint play. It was here where one of the Heroe's newest agents 'The Tongue' stoled the show with an incredible 1d blitz and ensuing reception from Manboy. Grue could do nothing but tag him with his blitzer. Seeing the young hero peril stirs Super Mollusk into action doubly doding out of the hands of his enemy, he rushes to assist his young companion, who manages to blitz his way to freedom, goes for it for the touchdown. 2-0 with 4 turns left, the heroes go into prevent defence, managing to keep the shut-out.
