“The Halflings got there booz! big time.
I'm a bit sorry for plorg, I really thing he didnt do that bad to deserve this.
But yet again you see what are the things that can kill off a unskilled starting team->
1. No skills (so no auto rerolls, and block/pows that allows you to keep your turn )
2. No Rerolls (yeah those nasty ingredients)
3. Bad luck (cause he really had bad luck :o( ... didnt break armour even with MB, thats pretty bad against halflings)
I got lucky on 2 trow team mates... but getting lucky, and preying on the other guys misfortune is the only way to go.
Flings are like cats trapped in an ally, you must retreat, make lots of noise, annoy, and when the other guy falls over! you must scratch as hard as you can or you wont get another chance at it!
I hope plorg can get block for those mummies soon, they will become monsters!
I'm not really looking forward playing against chaos dwarfs yet. I hope the shepperd is at my side, and whisky will be given to the injured and the players that did there best!
Good luck plorg, one 1 loss doesnt mean you lost the war!
Maybe, if my luck doesnt run out, we see eachother again in the second round for some crazy groovy blood bowl fun! just make sure you have plenty of block to go around! you'll nail my little fellas good!

This game was not entirely Nuffle's fault. Plorg made the bonehead mistake 1st half of trying to take down a tree with 3 mummies. This tied up the mummies most of the half when the tree should have been avoided entirely letting the mummies feast on the halfling swarm directly. That feast would have increased the number of 3dice blocks (crucial when taking down dodgers) and the application of Mighty Blow on AV 6. The 1st half ended spectacularly with a near goal-to-goal pickup/handoff/TTM/TD in turn 8, ending the half 1-0 flings.
The Khemri had more sense in the 2nd half and stayed away from trees for the most part. Unfortunately, this let them throw yet another successful TTM for a turn 6 TD, sealing the game.
