#4 Sanduin – Dead (RIP)
Urgh, shafted.

Well it had to happen, been having a real nice streak with this team, resulting in them taking the place as top High Elf team in Ranked, even above Nandorians. BBut as with all good things, it wasnt meant to last. The st4 lion had niggle, and was bound to eat it sooner or later, at least he died on the pitch (though in a rather shamefully way)

Sucks though that my spare thrower aged on his skillroll. The completions he made to get that skill was more or less the only thing that worked this game.

Luckily i had saved up a rather nice amount of cash, i planned to use in the upcoming Warpstone Open, a new lion and a new phoenix tok out a rather large part of that gold, so back to earning more i guess.

------------------
This was a real dicerape, one of the worst I have seen for a loooong time.

Handicaps were pretty tame:

Extra Training?
I am the Greatest
Knuckedusters
Bad Press
And something I can't remember that had minimal effect.

The Grandarchers were screwed royally after the Falcons got a first turn cas (BH) on their AG5 leaper. From there, their blitz moves on the wing to open a gap netted pushes and skull/pows nearly all day.

They copped a blitz move and a stack of other rolls to let my team steal and score over and over, often with me needing some 3+s to pull it off.

My opponent's niggled Str4 Lion Warrior got double skulls on a block vs Valdrek and killed himself and it was wa too early in the match to commit the apothecary and so he was not saved.

I only had two bad rolls all game, one was snake-eyes trying to score with my newish Witch and she badly hurt herself. Later in the game I failed a 2+ leap with reroll but it did not affect the outcome anyway.

On the other end, my opponent continued to roll pushes and skull/pows.

In fact, he only stunned me a handful of times and did not cause a single KO or casualty.

Just one of those games where the dice controlled the outcome. I played a pretty flawless game taking minimal risks, but so did my opponent. Just his rolls were crud most of the game, and I made nearly all the important rolls.

Anyways, Nighteye is a great sporting coach and I wish his team a strong recovery.
