“After elves starting the game in laughable fashion - dropping the ball repeatedly - the dwarves managed to containt the threat of the flimsy speedy things. They even got the ball towards the end of the first half and made a solid little (short legged run for it) - alas they were caught short (ha ha - not very funny really).
The second - started with Scarri Whitehate still "recovering on the bench", the lazy git - went okay. The dwarves making slow progress in to the elvish lands. A couple of good elfish blitzes and subsequent bounces gave them a glimmer of hope. The stout ones did hold on though and in turn 6 an opening for the decisive score did appear - again the speedy flimsy things managed to close in and when it did count in turn 8Daled Darlekson failed to step away from a single elf! He fell the ball was lost and the game was a draw.
All in all both sides can and will blame lady UNluck - the elves for not moving the ball at the beginning (although they did manage to roll much better late in the 1st half and in the 2nd half) and the dwarves for being caught just slightly short at the end of each half!”
