“The luck score gets it wrong again. In the last 2 turns of the second half I had better luck than my opponent who'd been outdicing me all game. 3 fouls, ref ignored, dodging with AG2, blocks getting pows save for last 2 turns, mine getting skulls etc. 1st turn ended after 2 double skulls for me, and opponent had better luck throughout the first half with kickoff results heading his way (+reroll) as well a couple of times.

Still, best to grit your teeth, hope the IGMEOY does something useful (it didn't) and hope for a break - in this case I nailed a couple of his best players (one niggle one miss next game) and hoped he'd get up another to go for a surf, but it wasn't to be.

Hard to be gracious against an opponent who enjoys fouling, doesn't chat at all and gets spawny dice rolls for most of the game - I tried to break it down with a lit chit chat but he was all business.

Business was bad for the Khemri today.

A hard fought win, and one I am happy with - the hardest fought victories are those where things don't go your way save for a couple of turns - you gotta seize the chance then and go for it.

In other words, Phew!!!
